Got salmon nigiri, salmon avocado maki and baby salmon maki, with a side of chicken & spring onion gyozas.

Summary: Some of the worst sushi I’ve ever had - waste your money elsewhere. If 0 stars was an option, that would be my rating.

Sushi: The fish was not fresh, you can easily smell and taste that it’s not great - but not the worst fish I’ve had either. The rice was way too dense, not washed appropriately and did not have enough vinegar in them. I had two nigiri and no more, I’ve never had worse nigiri.

The salmon & avocado maki was a bit better, but not by much. Again, the rice is too dense and hard-packed; it’s supposed to be fluffy and light. The sesame seeds have an off taste to them, and overpower the rest of the sushi. The avocado is equally as “unfresh” as the fish, and is turning brown, with some spots already on them.

The baby salmon maki was surprisingly nice, besides from the rice. It was not as dense as the others, but not as fluffy as desired.

Gyozas: Pre-made and reheated in store. Lacks flavor and texture of a proper gyoza. Somewhat redeemed by the “gyoza-sauce” which was...

Visited Bicester Village on a hot summer day beginning of Sep 23 at the early Monday morning when there were hardly any people just yet. Passed by itsu and got attracted by the beautiful/colourful pinkish interior design, high ceiling and welcoming bright entrance. Couldn't resist but went in to check it out. There were only a few customers around and we were able to slowly take some photos and made our choices. The staff/cashier on duty was a tall gentleman who was really friendly and helpful. After paying for the sushi pack we were able to sit down and relax having sushi as our breakfast. The quality of the sushi was surprisingly good and the miso soup was nice and hot and tasty 😋. It was a great start at itsu on a hot summer morning where itsu provides strong and cold air conditioning which is unusual in many uk eateries during summer time. Well done itsu...

The food was served hot and fresh, and all options provided (including vegan meals) were quite affordable. Adding to the positive review was the amazing taste of their food.

Coming into the place, we were a bit skeptical of how quick the service was, because there literally was a horde of people going in. However, queues were separated into takeaway and eat in orders. Service was quite efficient and quick, while being mindful of the social distancing regulations. People were politely reminded to sanitise their hands and to wear face masks at all times in the premises.

After a day of checking out the shops, the food was a meal well-spent!

Also, outside seating was available for people not able to secure tables inside. Strategical location as well, as it was a stones throw away from the...
