Ok ok, another work adventure today taken us to a place we have visited before and I’ve yet to review. This place is the biggest hidden gem you’ll find imo!
Today I ordered the chicken dumpling ramen, let’s talk about it starting with the flavour it was letting off the most elegant but depth just from the smell alone, the noodles were thick but cooked to perfection yet in most delicate yet delicious chicken broth that just give you the flavour of everything ramen you want! The chicken dumplings wow crispy soft and full of flavour I could have ate 100 of them, the balance of the fish was perfect home cooked warm ramen that hits the number!
I’ve also had the chicken katsu curry and wow, look don’t even bother going to any of these highstreet chains! This is the spot! Crispy tender chicken, soft fragrant rice, and a curry sauce with real depth of flavour and vibes. Honestly it’s superb!
And you know what lunch deal - £9.95 with a drink too absolute bargain!
This is real home cooked, original recipes, family run small restaurant with big bold flavours! They do full menu which looks incredible also I would eat here 3 times a week if I could!
Today’s rating is 8.5/10 - I don’t know how you improve or what to suggest just keep doing what you guys love and keep providing good proper food! Thanks again!
side note these pictures taken just as they opened its quiet, but soon gets busy and restaurant is small please respect what they are doing! Bicester you...
Read moreI brought my family in this restauraunts today and this is what can I say:
Regarding the service: The staff/owner is a very welcoming lady and attentive. She was also very friendly and helpful about the menu, explaining the food.
Regarding the food: The good thing: Food is served fresh and hot. The bad thing: I actually had a high expectation at this restaurant because I could read a very good review in the internet. However, I was quite disappointed about the taste. I think they serve their food too sweet. Even the Ramen, It is quite sweet. I am Asian and I eat a lot in Japanese/Korean/Chinese restaurant so I quite know when the food is good or could be better. Also, they lack of choices of their sauce. I could say it is not a proper Japanese restaurant and sadly, this is one of the Japanese restaurants I didn’t like.
Regarding the pricing, I believe their food is too expensive for the quality they have. We spent almost £90 pounds on 4 ramen and 3 starters. There are much more better restaurants out there. I am happy to pay as long as the food is good but unfortunately, it disappointed me.
Overall: I would not recommend this restaurant if you fancy eating in a...
Read moreHaving heard great things from people who have eaten in the restaurant, we were excited to try a takeaway from Light and Salt. The food itself was cooked well, but the portions were so incredibly small compared to the dishes served in the restaurant. We were particularly disappointed by the amount of sauce provided with the teriyaki and the katsu. I’ve taken a pic of the katsu sauce container. Considering that it was £12 for the katsu chicken it seemed really stingy and was no where near enough! I guess this is a problem with their packaging for takeaway being way too small, and I hope they fix this - but I wouldn’t order again unless I knew that this had improved. Not good value takeaway as...
