Ashoka — Restaurant in Chesterfield

Ashoka is a joka! We only went for mains and sat for 3 hours waiting for it. When it finally came it was nice... apart from the stone and wood we found in one of the dishes. During the wait we had the pleasure of a auction style ordering process in which the waiter just shouted out rices and people had to shout if they wanted one. This resulted in having to read them out 3 times to make sure he hadn't made a mistake through the confusion. Also a full pint of coke was poorer over 3 people soaking them though a long with 2 expensive coats that require dry cleaning. All they would other us is £20 off a £300 bill and they knocked off 3 drinks. £20 to dry clean 2 coats and compensate for the stones and bark found in food a long with the 3 hour wait. We refused to pay the full amount and as a result they are giving us a few weeks to pay the rest or are taking...

Arrived at 7.30pm. Food was served at just shy on 10pm. A stone the size of a pea was found in my curry. Now, the following morning, my tooth is still painful. Lemonade flat. Coke flat. I would estimate that on average from ordering a drink to receiving it was 20 to 30 minutes. Some drinks we had to remind up to 4 times. One never even materialised after that. I pint of coke was spilt down a person in our group and has damaged his down jacket. Staff rude. Food cold.

Now I want to be completely honest and say that the flavour of my curry I did enjoy (up to the point I found a stone). The naan bread was enjoyable. But from start to finish this was an abhorrent experience and a thoroughly...

Absolutely Disgusting and Rubbish customer service by the manager. I have travelled all around the world but this is the first Restaurant with the rudest customer service by the manager. We were sitting and asked them to take the order and the manager came to take order, then he suddenly snatched the menu Infront of us from the table and told us that this restaurant is not for you. What does it mean? I asked him the reason and he was quiet as he had no answer....Just Kept on saying leave the restaurant. What kind of behaviour is this. I don't know whether the owner of the restaurant knows what kind of behaviour is the manager having with their customers. Absolutely...
