Visited Sun and Salt recently and wow — what a gorgeous spot. As soon as I walked in and caught the scent of incense, I knew it was my kind of place. The interior is like a tranquil oasis, filled with natural textures and warm tones — such good vibes all round.
Their mezze-style menu is packed with flavour and so up my street, it was hard to choose a favourite dish! The stuffed vine leaves were the perfect start. The whipped feta was light and airy, with a drizzle of honey and a hint of Aleppo pepper that pulled it all together beautifully. The garlic hummus was silky smooth with a punchy zhoug — and the portion sizes were very generous, so no risk of running out before the pitta did!
One of the standouts was the broccoli Caesar — so good we tucked in before snapping a pic (always a good sign). The roasted chicken thighs with yoghurt and Lamiri harissa butter were full of flavour and tender. And the beef pastitsada - Rich, comforting and served with dreamy buttered mash that just melted in the mouth.
There’s still loads on the menu I want to try, so I’ll definitely be back soon!

Food ordered which came fairly quickly, Belly Pork was lovely and hot, Roast Potatoes lovely, only lukewarm unfortunately, next course was the Corfu Beef, again lovely, the Roasted Feta was great but unfortunately turned up 5 mins after the Beef!
The food was pretty good to be honest, the service at this point not! the waitress arrived whilst we were still eating and chatting and started taking plates away including mine which I hadn't finished and had to take it back off her.. Then our wine glasses were taken...a few minutes later my unfinished beer was removed and had to asked for it back!.. Within 2 minutes we were asked if we wanted the bill.. We were going to order another drink maybe a sweet and a coffee!.. The table was reserved from 18.30 until 20.30.. The time now was approx 19.30.. This started off as a very relaxing evening and ended up the opposite and fel like we were getting harried out of...
