On a recent trip to Edinburgh we wanted to find somewhere for breakfast and we struggled to find anything from the Google map suggestions that had a good variety to choose from. We somehow came across this gem of a place, just round the corner from our hotel (Hilton Carlton). Its a good sized place with indoor and outdoor seating. The menu had such a huge variety of options, exactly what we were after. Most places just seem to offer Full Scottish or Full English as well as poached eggs but this place had so much more to choose from as well as some healthier options. We've been here 3 mornings in a row and enjoyed the Full British as well as the American Style (scrambled eggs and bacon). The potato scones....no idea what it was but my god it was delicious! On the last day we were able to modify our breakfast with simple swaps and pay for additional items. All of the staff were extremely friendly and it was a fantastic atmosphere. One of the standout features of this restaurant was undoubtedly the attentive and charming waitress who took care of our every need. Her genuine enthusiasm and knowledge about the menu were truly commendable. Not only did she provide excellent recommendations, but she also patiently answered our questions and ensured that we had a comfortable and enjoyable dining experience. Her impeccable timing and attention to detail truly elevated our evening to new heights. I wish I had remembered her name.

We found this place on Google maps and we decided to have our first breakfast while in Scotland. Best decision ever. Everything was superb. Food to die for, atmosphere and service 100/10. Im drooling thinking about that waffles that I had and how silly from me to not order the sweet ones also. I'm sure I will visit this place again if in Scotland.
