We were looking for dog friendly places that were open for an early breakfast and were lucky enough to discover this cosy little cafe. The staff were so attentive from the moment we walked in, they realized that we wanted to ask if they allowed dogs and said yes even before I could ask.

Our server, Eva was a very nice and friendly lady who helped us with veggie options and our drinks..The food was amazing and we loved the french toasts and the falafel with hummus. In drinks our favorite was the Turkish apple tea. Eddie the owner of the cafe was kind enough to get a sausage for our dog and they didn't even charge us for it.

All in all a great start to our day, we loved the food, loved the people and our dog loved the place too!!

Go give the place a chance and you wouldn't be...

First time at Truva for brunch as we’re usually out for a late afternoon meze. I chose Truva Moussaka and my wife chose the Turkish Breakfast.

My moussaka was very meaty and could have had a bit more Bechamel sauce, but it was very tasty with an authentic flavour and hot all the way through. I loved the salad with it, and the bread was perfect for mopping up the dish at the end.

The eggs in the Turkish breakfast needed a tiny bit more cooking so the egg white was fully cooked, but we should have asked for that as it’s a common reason for people to request medium-fried eggs. We know next time 😁 The jam with the toast was full of fruit and not too sweet.

Two cappuccinos and a pecan plait pastry rounded things off beautifully. Thank...

We recently visited this cafe, and unfortunately, it didn’t live up to expectations. The food was quite disappointing, especially considering the high prices. For instance, we were charged £4.75 for just a bit of scrambled egg, which had a strange smell—so much so that my baby refused to eat it. Additionally, £2.75 for two pieces of bread felt way too expensive for what we received. While the waiter was just okay, there was another man—likely the boss—who made the experience even less enjoyable. He was overly talkative and came off as somewhat rude, which detracted from our visit. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this place, as the quality of both the food and service was disappointing...

Wonderful Café in Edinburgh. In the heart of the vibrant suburb Leith, a Café ran by a lovely family offers the best specialties from Turkey and Scotland. My all time favourites are the greens on toast and the Turkish brunch bagel. Café Truva has outstanding coffee with beans they roast themselves. The scones are home-made and even the jam is prepared freshly each morning. 🍓 The best coffee in Scotland, the best food and the most heart warming people. Thank you Team Truva for so many unforgettable brunches 🫶🏻

Cozy, homey Turkish breakfast/brunch/cafe in The Shore. From the moment we came in we were welcomed warmly by the staff, they were friendly and attentive. The food was delicious, everything was perfectly cooked and seasoned and we love the side salad. We also had the hot chocolate which was creamy and perfectly sweet. The decor feels authentically Turkish. We love this place and will definitely come back.
