First of all, I am a big Pizza fan! When I travel, I am always in the hunt for a great pizza! So far, the best Pizza I’ve had was in a Sicilian Pizzeria in Paris. I had seen reviews about Civerinos on YouTube and I flagged it as a spot that I had to try. And wow!! I can easily say that it is within the top 3 pizza places I have ever tried! And I have had pizza in many places around the world! First of all, I really liked the choice of flavors that were offered. Each slice is massive! It’s the size of a 1/4 of a 20” pizza! So the first time I went there, I had two slices. I remember one of them being the Jalapeño & Chimichuri. Just from the smell itself, I know it would be amazing! And oh boy did it ever deliver!! I had taken my time eating the first slice that the second one got a little cold by the time I ate it. So it’s not fair to rate it based on that (the second slice). So I went back the next day to have two more slices. This time, I ordered one slice at a time to make sure that the second one was still hot. I tried another flavor for my first and then ordered again the Jalapeño & Chimichuri as the second one. It was just too good!! I saw the table around me ordering their truffle fries and some the mozzarella stick (more like a baseball bat) and they looked delicious!! I could not have eaten more after those two slices. Perhaps if I lived there, I would come back just to try their other items, but for the time I was there, I couldn’t go without sampling their pizza slices. Their pricing is pretty fair for what you get. I would 100% recommend Civerinos! Just typing this review is making me hungry!!!

Best vegan pizza I’ve had. We had a whole 20 inch Vegan Polpette and the cheese was incredible - not like any vegan cheese I’ve had on pizza before. Texture and consistency were spot on, stayed wet in the oven without crisping or drying out, melted well but was never ‘gluey’ like vegan cheese can get. Flavour was close to mozzarella and tasted great when cold too. The meat alternative on the top was really tasty and had lots of flavour with a really lovely texture. Service was fast and really good, food and drinks came out quickly and there was a great atmosphere inside. Was nice to see how busy they were on a Monday night as they clearly deserve it. So good we went back the next day and tried a vegan version of their Margherita which was perfect and simple, again the cheese was a huge winner. Three vegan options on the menu which was great to see from a non-vegan restaurant, would be amazing to see this expanded as they’ve clearly nailed the meat and cheese and would love to see how they can experiment further!

We visited Civerinos in Edinburgh and had one of the best pizza experiences ever! We ordered the Buttermilk Fried Chicken Pizza and the Italian Sausage Pizza, and both were absolutely delicious. The crust was perfectly crisp, the toppings were generous, and the flavors were spot on. The Buttermilk Fried Chicken Pizza was the highlight for us—crispy, tender chicken with just the right amount of seasoning, paired with the perfect cheese and sauce combination. Every bite was bursting with flavor! The Italian Sausage Pizza was also fantastic, with rich, savory sausage and a beautifully balanced tomato base. Their truffle & garlic aioli was so good—seriously next-level! It added such a rich, indulgent touch to everything we dipped into it. The atmosphere was vibrant, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. If you’re in Edinburgh and craving top-tier pizza, Civerinos is a must-visit!

Ok listen, this Pizza is amazing. The food is Bomb. I love going here. We usually get the “my cousin Vinny” and it’s fire. The vibe is always fun, good music and cool atmosphere. We started coming here about a year ago and we probably go about once every two weeks. It’s really convenient, delicious and affordable. BUT, we’ve noticed a change lately in some staff. Everyone is really really nice and friendly and cool but a bit disorganised at times. The last couple times we have been there during the day it seems chaotic and disorganised. One time we ordered our slices and ended up waiting over half an hour (which is really out of the ordinary cause they are usually quick) when we finally flagged someone down to check they were adamant that they were coming out soon despite the fact that the people sitting next to us who came after us had finished and were leaving. We were pretty sure our order got lost which is cool- it happens but when I asked again after another 10 mins I was met with hella attitude about it. We eventually got our pizza and stuff so it’s all cool and it happens, it’s no one’s fault BUT we’ve been in there since and have had similar things happen. One time we sat outside and it was 30 minutes before someone had brought us menus. It’s not a huge place so I think it’s just an organisational thing. We keep coming back so obviously that’s testament to the incredible pizza and all in all it’s a great experience but sometimes I’m like bro where...

The two stars are because the pizza is good and the staff are kind, the -3 is because the collection service drives me to madness and froze me to the core.

I warn you DO NOT ORDER TO COLLECT- EVER don’t waste your time.

The collection area is outside and they severely misjudge their waiting times EVERY TIME. You will be stood in the cold for 30min- 1hour.

It’s understandable they prioritise their deliveroo orders and restaurant orders but they have one oven and I saw many people come and go while I stood there freezing :( the staff are lovely (she did offer me a free drink but I didn’t want one- sweet tho) but I was estimated a 15 min wait time, I arrived after 10 min (surely I would only be stood there for 5 or so min… )

After waiting for 30 min I enquired about our order- staff apologetic said it would be a 10-15 min wait longer. After 20 or so minutes I received the pizzas and not the chips I was told that would be another 5 min which was fine what is 5 more min?

10-15 mins later I received the chips, by the time I got my order home the pizzas were stone cold :(. Still tasty but moral of the story DO NOT ORDER TO COLLECT! This or something similar happens every time I have ordered to collect but never this bad.

Would not be as bad if they were honest about their waiting times on the app. So you could decide for yourself how long you...
