On a Roll — Restaurant in City of Edinburgh

My husband and I are staying at a flat up the street from this little gem and have had breakfast and coffee here every single morning. It’s absolutely delicious, we both get the Bacon roll with an egg on top. The bread is fantastic, and the meat is delicious! A great couple run the place and on our first morning they even gave us a tasting of Haggis and Black pudding that they make themselves and both were very good! If we’re ever back in Scotland we will definitely be visiting this...

I got lunch in the shop this week and witnessed the owner scream and shout at a passerby with a dog. He had accused her of letting her dog go to the toilet near the shop (I seen the whole thing and she didn't let that happen). I was a bit shocked as he came across as a real bully and it's really put me off going to the roll shop. The woman who was serving also went outside the shop to join in, it wasn't nice to witness. Had a sit down breakfast and noticed a plug point under the breakfast bar. As is normal in London, I plugged phone in for a couple of minutes so I could obtain hotel booking.
