This was our first time having lunch at the cafe, my wife had been once before shortly after it opened and I was keen to try it out too. The décor is nice and has a good atmosphere. The outside seating is great, especially as it's south facing and fairly wide pavements. With it being a new opening, it feels like the service is still to get up to speed. The staff are all friendly and helpful, but it feels like the team is not too experienced yet. There is a nice menu for lunch and good selection for both adults and children. The portion sizes very not too big for the actual cost of the individual meals and I would have expected a little more garnish or similar when ordering a bagel 🥯 for lunch or with the kids cheese soldiers. It was nicely presented with eatable flowers 🌺 Their coffee was nice and there seems to be a good selection of cakes and other treats, which I will be back to check out in the near future. They allow dogs, which makes it a little more challenging getting around when the dogs lie in the middle of the cafe, just one to note for other customers, when dog owners are visiting, to keep them next to their tables. The toilets were located down the stairs and I don't believe there were any accessible toilets, but may be mistaken. There were children's changing within one of the toilets, so great for accommodating young families. Overall a nice experience and I am sure the speed of service will come with experience once it has been open for a little longer. They started opening till 10pm from the 11th Apr 2025 on Fri and Sat, which is great for locals and visitors alike. Thank you to the team and keep it up, we look forward to visiting again soon. Thanks

Visited here for the first time today and had some coffee and wine, and both were excellent. I had an Aerocano, an airated frothy americano, which I haven't had anywhere before - it was delightful. The rosé was also very nice. We also tried the chai latte, which was also excellent, very creamy and full-bodied. I really liked the laid back but comfortable, companionable ambience of the place. The service was attentive, friendly, and warm. Just what the neighbourhood needed. I'll be back to try their food and more of their coffee in the future.

My favourite place to visit with my doggy companion for the few weeks I was dogsitting in portabello. The staff are so lovley and accommodating and I absolutely loved the fact they stayed open later on fridays!! Awesome grazing board. Although those olives had a spicy kick! 🌶😮😝

Stopped at first cafe I went past for a coffee so ordered 2 flat whites and 2 sausage baps to takeaway, just under £20!!! Coffee was fine I’ve had better but fine, but the sausage baps!! Really annoyed! If you’re paying that price then the quality has to be far superior than that!! Nice roll was toasted inside only one side small about of butter and cheap sausages!!! Low quality! Very dry! Couldn’t eat all of it! For me that’s not heard of 😅 felt ripped off!!!! Certainly would never go back!! Shame because I see other reviews and pics...
