one star because while I worked there they showed very poor management, unfriendly communication and lack of care for their employees. the employees are a great team and make the place a friendly atmosphere, the cakes and pastries are very delicious and high quality, other goods are randomly high priced or prices go up for no reason other than profit. If you consider working there they might waste your time learning the ropes as they seem to have a pattern of letting a new employee work hard, let them on their own since day 3, running the shop just to get fired for the owner to simply disliking you. there is no care given for employees, whether you are new or have been working your arse off for years. wouldn't recommend joining...

Cute cosy place. Nice selection of gifts. But the fresh baked and cooked food was a bit disappointing. There weren't any labels or little signs in front of the cakes and savoury bakes. Which meant that it was hard to know what was inside and with over ten items to choose from it put me off asking what each individual item was, especially with a shop full of people. I bought a broccoli quiche which turned out to have blue cheese inside, I ended up not being able to eat it as I absolutely hate blue cheese. 2 years later and continue to be impressed, consistently friendly staff, lovely range of products inside including oils, pulses, pickles, chocolate etc as well as coffee, bakery and fresh sandwiches etc
