What a dissapointment! We decided to spontaneously grab some mexican food from here on the 27th of December after a really enjoyable time shopping.
2 of the 3 staff members behind the ordering bar (build your own taco/burrito/bowl etc) were friendly helpful and engaging but they were sorely let down by an extremely rude collegue. My fiancé and I always go out of our way to be super friendly to all staff (especially over the Christmas period as I worked in retail myself for many years and completely understand how overwhelming it can be). We didn’t catch her name but the short young women with the scottish accent that was standing next to the guy manning the register, was incredibly rude! Not only to us but to every single customer after and before us. She clearly didn’t want to be there and made a few people uncomfortable.
She rudely and impatiently asked customers what they wanted and had a really bad attitude throughout the whole interaction. She was so rude, that the meal was completely ruined for us and we left with a truly bitter tast in our mouths (excuse the pun).
The tables were also filthy and we made a point to clean up after ourselfve when we left, so that the next customers didn’t have to experience the same thing we did. Needlessly to say, we’ll never...
Read moreI had tacos and nachos. The food was alright, but tacos could've been better. The soft shell tacos were too small, so I had to order 2 portions. I had been craving some Mexican for a while but never had it properly before. I'm not Mexican, and this was my first experience, so I was looking at my options. I needed some time to figure out what I wanted. Two ladies were quite patient, but there was one lady (pale white with specs) who was very rude. I was pointing at what I wanted because while I was trying to figure it out, one of the nice ladies was trying to tell me what those toppings were but my ADHD mind was finding it slightly difficult to make up my mind. My hand went a bit over the glass barrier, and that rude lady told me to move my hand back. Although it is fair but there's a way of saying it, and then at the end, while I was busy with the other lady, she again yelled at me the 2nd time when I couldn't hear her when she asked if I wanted any drinks. That ruined mine and my girlfriend's mood, and I couldn't focus on enjoying my food. We just tried to finish the food as soon as possible. My girlfriend suggested getting coke, but I didn't want to even go to the counter, and then we decided we'll get it from...
Read moreWe have experienced Tortilla at full price and through TooGoodToGo. Most employees are super friendly and are happy to guide you through the process when it is your first time, as it is a bit more complicated than Subway for example.
You get loads of filling when ordering a burrito or a naked burrito (bowl). However, one of the dark haired female employees has a tendency to put less filling in the bowls and is just not as friendly as the others. Originally we thought that this may be due to TooGoodToGo but she did the same for a full price portion (she is the reason service gets only 4/5 stars). We keep on coming back anyway, as the food is very good. The churros are nothing special though so we wouldn’t recommend them. The beef and chorizo are two of the extra price options that are super delicious and in our eyes worth it.
The establishment is always very clean and they clean empty tables quickly and thoroughly. We’ll be back again soon (and hopefully are more lucky with our server)
(P.S. We munch too fast and forget to take photos. We will add...
