Stock and Bailey is a super place to eat and drink. The tapas menu has enough on it to keep anyone more than happy and it’s served beautifully. Dominic and Simon are both much more than friendly and they have a real passion for customer service and care. There is nothing they don’t know between them. Whether it’s an exceptional coffee served by the amazing Dominic (the very best coffee connoisseur I have ever had the pleasure to meet and chat with) or a rare and specialist tea, fine wine or the very best champagne - they can make anything on a scale and level that can’t be repeated in Colchester anywhere. Simon builds rapport like no other and they compliment each other very well. The location of S&B is perfect and is in the best position in town to avoid all the riff-raff and loud teenagers out experimenting in town. I went there on their soul night which I didn’t even knew existed and although I’ve got a bit of a poorly leg going on, it was great to see people enjoying themselves and especially wearing what I call real clothes not trainers, not Tracky bottoms, and hoodies.

Real men with dress sense so nice to see people putting themselves out. I wish there was more of this in Colchester but sadly it seems the casual fashion is totally taken over. Louis was absolutely lovely today. Despite being on his own, his service couldn’t of been more spot on. I came in today for my friends birthday and was greeted with 10/10 service and this continued during our late lunch, despite the stress of a one man band.
