I have to leqve a review as i was in the cafe yeaterday, one of my regular choice of cafe on the highstreet and i was seades upatairs with my mother having a lovely meal. There was a table upstairs with an older woman and 3 young adults. This woman from the get go was rude, clicking her fingers at the staff to get their attention before she was even ready to order. The waitress was really patient with this Lady as she changed her order, which if she had communicated with her family and been ready to order and followed the table service request could have been alot smoother. The woman then was asking for piping hot drinks and did say about drinks WITH food but another person on the table wanted it then she then agreed and Said yes drinks now. There are two heaters upstairs and the upstairs is always cosy. The food was brought up and the waitress had Got the requested sauces and asker if she could get you anything else. I heard the Lady metin one small part of the egg which was runny, but when the waitress Said she would aşk for your eggs well done you Said no i still want runny yellow.... anyway waitress Said she will get it changed for you and you Said no. I made a point of actually looking at this womans table önce she had left and the plates were EMPTY!!! She even asked for a take away box! I feel that cafe bravo staff handled this difficult customer perfectly!! The young adults on the table looked very uncomfortable and mortified by the older womans comments and how she was acting... basic manners and kindness is free and if you lack them stay at home. I feel the review is a poor attempt to tarnish a small family run buisness trying to Survive current time. İn my opinion the fact the review states anatolia which can i add has been on the highstreet about 2 years not 10 says it all. Cafe bravo staff keep doing what your doing and other people please dont be put off!!!!!!! The decor, vibe, food and staff are amazing . Thank you...
Read morePleasant decor of café. However, it was really cold for February and heating is not sufficient for the upstairs seating area. I gave an order of food and asked specifically for the drinks to be served after the food. The waitress said she was the only staff member serving so it may be difficult. I said not to worry, I would be flexible and have them with the food. I also asked for my eggs to be well done. The drinks came up before the food. We drank them and still no sign of the food. When I went downstairs, the chef (barman) was defensive and rude. I asked him not to shout. When the food finally came the eggs were raw and breakfast was cold and bland. When I asked the waitress about the eggs she said it wasn't her fault. I decided that it was useless explaining and wrecking the day as I'd come out to have breakfast with my children. I paid over £60 for rude staff, cold, bland food and people who cannot take customer feedback. They could learn from Anatolia Restaurant down the road. I have going there for over 10 years and always brilliant.
Will not be going...
Read moreCame here for lunch today for the first time. Reason we chose it over the others on the High Street was it's menu and outdoor seating.
So glad we did! Staff were friendly and efficient it getting us menus straight away and taking our drinks orders. We both had an Efes which was lovely un the sun.
I had the chicken fajita wrap which was absolutely delicious and packed full of tasty ingredients. It came with a small salad garnish and coleslaw. It was a great portion. I took half home!
My cousin had the vine leaf and falafel salad. It looked incredible and she was really pleased with hers too!
We will definitely go back again. The inside was decorated beautifully so look forward to going back for more tasty food and a...
