KFC — Restaurant in Coventry

Well where shall i start about this KFC establishment.....my boyfriend and I had visited this KFC 2 times in 2 weeks for various of reasons, and verdict with both times, is what i call "room for improvement". Also for me to have the ability of sharing our review, as honestly, its minus star rated. Both visits, the quality of the chicken served, was not as how the slogan on the side of the building "finger licking good" more "not finger licking, and good for the bin". The batter used, it was soo greasy i reckon if you squeeze the batter, oil would come off. Its appalling with how much the charges are and to get this standard of food. The boyfriend and I have had great KFC establishments in the past, i feel like this one needs a lot of changes. A few examples are:

The quality of care from members of staff to us as customers. Earlier we came to the establishment to order a family feast with 12 pieces of chicken with an extra 4 pieces of chicken, it came to around £25, the member of staff was unknowing to the KFC policies when it came to changing drumstick to breast, in their voice it kept sounding like "i have no clue, its not what ive been told, etc" having read the Ts and Cs online, and had an argument in the drive thru with member of staff, and felt they had a bit of a tamtrum. When collecting the food, we paid for the family feast, big bottle of drink and 4 extra bits of chicken that wasnt a drumstick, we got all except only 3 extra chicken. And also it felt like the bag full of hot food, was flung to us too.

There was one occasion where a member of staff, who was unprofessionally rude to customers and had used unacceptable language towards them whilst having families trying to enjoy their food, and sadly had to put up with this.

First time, fair enough, the second time, wouldnt recommend anyone this establishment, unless there was a humongous change to this establishment, they have lost another 2...

• THE WORST KFC EVER *

This is a KFC without chicken!! Tryed to order and everythi g we asked for they didn't have! The staff have changed and not for good. Your lucky if anyone can speak or understand a word of English so you can't ask questions, poor service, non existent food and as for atmosphere 😂 if you like to eat with lots of delivery drivers shouting to pick up orders then sure it's great!

Avoid this please. There is a gregs, subway, McDonald's and pizza hut on the same island so go to one of them.

This KFC is not always the best and in the past I've had some great meals and some salty shockers but after a long time away from kfc we fancied trying it again and it was lovely. They have recently had a redisgn on the outside but the inside is still the same., there are some order screens but they were working!

Inside there is only ever 1 person on the till so you will most likely need to wait, then the food seems to always take an age to get so more waiting. I'd say its at least 10 15 mins from walking in to walking out if it's not too busy. A Friday evening it will be longer. The drive thru is slow and blocks the carpark so if you use it toy need to look out for others wanting to get out. It's a bad design.

Because everyone is standing around waiting half the tables are just waiting customers and delivery drivers there are are few tables out the way to sit at...

Had a dreadful experience the last time I visited. Utterly clueless, uncaring staff. Most of whom barely speak a word of English. They were all stood around with a vacant expression and clearly could not care less about the job.

My order was left on the side for a full 10 minutes, then given to another customer who had a good rifle through the bag. He had to repeatedly tell the staff it wasn't his before they tried to hand it to me. Order numbers are called out, even though till staff routinely keep the receipt so customers have no idea which is theirs.

The night I visited was total chaos, apparently 5 customers at once qualifies as "very busy". Why is it that McDonald's can work through a queue of 20 people in minutes, cooking all food on request and get all the orders correct. Yet this bunch of muppets can't chuck a few pre-cooked bits of chicken in a box without cocking it up? I had to scream, shout and massively lose my temper in front of the whole restaurant before anyone woke up enough to care.

My reward? Awfull chicken that was dried up on the inside and dripping with grease on the outside. The food and indeed the whole restaurant stank (as usual) of dirty old cooking oil. There is no way it's being changed as often...
