MJ's Fried Chicken — Restaurant in Coventry

I have been using this shop regularly recently, the two gentlemen at the counter are very courteous and very pleasant to talk with. Food always tastes nice and is made with care. Shop is kept very clean and they have made me switch allegiance, I used another shop in the area but now use MJ. Recommend this place to everyone the wings are nice and the chicken donner is really tasty, they have some fantastic offers too. Both the gentlemen are really friendly and always make me feel welcome. They have won a new loyal customer.

I walked in a few months before and there was a lady working, she was the reason I never step foot into that shop very rude, and asked me If i was a uber delivery driver and I walked out and she said I am leaving without picking up the order. I only returned by chance one day as it was raining and they are close to where I live and the two guys are top notch when it comes to speaking with customers, great customer service. I visited this shop today as I usually do. There's a regular staff member I often interact with, and I asked him for chicken wings and a mini burger. Initially, he said the mini burger wasn’t available, so I asked for just chips and wings. But then he went ahead and billed me for the mini burger anyway.

A few seconds later, they gave me the wings and chips. A new staff member at the shop handed me a burger box, and I asked him politely to confirm if it was for me. Then he checked with the regular staff member to be sure, but he suddenly responded to me in a very rude manner, saying things like, "They come here without knowing Tamil or English," in an aggressive tone.

This kind of behavior from staff—especially someone I’ve seen working there regularly—is completely unprofessional and disappointing. I hope the management takes this seriously and ensures...

I was eating my food , on my last peice of chicken I found a course black hair ( i have a shaved head so it definitely wasn't mine) I went to quietly and politley complain , and the man instantly got defensive and said there was no chance it was their hair , clearly was theirs as it matched their hair and they had no beard or hair covering , i went on to say that it was clearly one of their hair and I just want a refund and he accused me of scamming him and got aggressive he only gave my refund when I said im going to review his shop , ill never eat here again the floor is dirty and covered in old chips and lettuce and the staff are extremely rude , give this...
