Further update: 28/8/25 Again I had the pleasure of visiting this lovely welcoming cafe… with a home from home atmosphere… Again, the food was delicious and, as always, the staff delightful. The cost more than reasonable and worth every penny. The complementary Soda bread was a real treat. My brother who has advanced dementia, and has visited a few times was remembered fondly by Kara… this is what you call caring staff. She kindly gave me some Soda bread for him ( he can’t get out now, sadly). It was truly a lovely kind gesture. I took it to him this afternoon and he was delighted saying Kara must love me! Hope to see you all soon xx Update: 7/01/24… Again, a wonderful experience. My family and I had the pleasure, once again, of visiting O’Toole’s Cafe. The food, staff and atmosphere really are fantastic. The Soda bread and Cheese and Onion Omelette are heaven sent. Even the toast tastes good! The service is top notch and the free refill of coffee and tea is a welcome added bonus… Finally… the price… amazing! Thank you once again for treating us like royalty! Xx

Had the most wonderful time today with my family … We were overwhelmed at the kindness and friendliness shown to us by all the staff… it was my/our brothers birthday and they made it as special as they could… even gave us a complementary plate of freshly baked Soda bread… really brought back happy memories as a child back in Ireland. The food was delicious and the refill of the tea and coffee was great too! I am an omelette lover and was delighted at the most perfectly cooked one that I had the pleasure of eating today… didn’t ration the cheese either! Another lovely touch was that they gave James, my brother, some Apple pie to take home! Now, for the price… it was truly amazing… my sister had to ask whether they had got it wrong… we expected it to be double the price! Another nice touch was the distant hum of Irish music playing in the background… quiet enough for a chat but loud enough for a quiet singsong! The lovely lady in charge today, even helped my brother, who has mobility difficulties, out the door…. honestly, I wanted to hug the woman… sadly, did not get her name… but honestly she needs a pay rise! 100% will be visiting again… so get that omelette on the hob! Thank you so much for making my brothers...

Fáilte! Had a wild night out with your friends and drank just a few too many Carlings? Woke up feeling like your brain has been dried down to the size and consistency of a walnut? Could you use some 20 extra hours of sleep before you go on with your Saturday? You’re in luck! Ditch all your sorrows and worries, for O’Tooles has got you covered today.

Secluded away in the outskirts of the beautiful neighborhood-village of Earlsdon, in Coventry (England), this small but mighty Irish café is surely going to please everyone’s need for a hangover cure. Don’t worry if you’re bothered to come on a weekday, you’ll be served perfectly fine food as well. But the beyond-perfect combinations and platters that you’ll find in the range of breakfasts offered here are a great match for still drunk university students struggling to pay rent.

Our party of four settled on three orders of “The Big and Fussy” and a “Great Eight” breakfast, pictured below. The baked beans, a British staple, offer a glimpse into humble, classic foods that led society into the 20th century. The protein, delivered by the sausages and bacon, ensure adequate muscle recovery and growth for those that enjoy a workout every now and then. The eggs? I think the picture speaks for itself; they are just what you would expect: a runny yolk perfect for dipping those sweet buttery toasts that come along with the breakfast. The tomatoes are the refreshing touch. Taking a bite of them sends me to an exotic, remote location, perhaps in the French Polynesia, where I picture myself beachside, sipping on a delicious Pinha Colada.

But the cherry on top is the hash browns. As Archimedes put it back in the day, “oi mate, give me a coupla hashbrowns and I’ll rock your world”. And O’tooles’ golden potato fritters surely deliver. They are deliciously crispy on the outside, yet steaming and juicy on the inside, seasoned to perfection.

Well done, O’Tooles. Five...

Can't speak highly enough of O'Toole's Cafe. Made a large breakfast order for my team at work last Sunday with numerous different specifications & all of the orders were fulfilled to perfection (I especially recommend trying their white pudding)!! 🤤👌🏻 Even though they were extremely busy when I called in my order, they kindly offered to call me back with the individual prices of the various items as it was the first time ordering from the cafe so I was unsure of prices (btw all prices are extremely reasonable). They also then called me 10 minutes before my order was ready so that it would be freshly made on my arrival & I wouldn't have to wait around. Very efficient. When I got there, there were people in every single seat, even outside (which shows how highly rated it is). Atmosphere inside was great & all of the staff were very helpful, friendly & polite. I've not even mentioned how good the food actually was. . .Absolutely incredible, it has to be the best place in Coventry to get a breakfast, bar none! 5 stars doesn't even seem like...

Wow! How have we never been here before! We live fairly close so decided to walk up. There were no tables but the staff are happy to take your number and call you when ready however they asked a man who was sat alone to move to a table of 2 so we could take his table of 4 which he kindly agreed to do. The customer service is amazing! Bought colouring over for our little boy, refilled our drinks, huge ammount of toast and to top it off the breakfast was one of the best I have had for years! They even offered our little boy a chocolate bar on the way out, what a lovely touch. What a gem! We will be back for sure!!! Everything was cooked to perfection. I asked for poached eggs and crispy bacon, everything was so tasty! The Irish potato cake and white pudding were a lovely addition. Everything was just perfect!

We arrived and it was packed, so had to wait about 15 minutes for a table, which we didn't mind doing at all. Once we were shown in, we were welcomed with a lovely, warm and welcoming atmosphere that had a nice buzz. The artwork outside and inside also added to this café's charm. I ordered the big and tasty, which certainly was big! The eggs were cooked nicely and the black pudding, white pudding and potato cake were all delicious. I was disappointed with the quality of the sausage (lacked flavour and mushy) and the fat on the bacon could have been rendered, but other than that it was great! Impressive portion sizes, good value for money and a lovely atmosphere.
