The Albany Club — Restaurant in Coventry

I called the club on Saturday after getting no response on from an email to enquire about booking the function room. I was told on the telephone that I would have to email again but the requested date was free, I emailed all details over again and did not get a response, I called today to enquire about paying deposit to be told that the room was now booked by somebody else and that there is nothing they can do (and was extremely rude about it). We went to the Albany Club for the wake of a friend & work colleague, Rich Robinson. It was an amazing atmosphere. Rock, metal & heavy rock music was on, followed by a live band, who were really good. It was like going back to the brill old days of biker bars. It's a medium sized club with a good assortment of beers, cider & spirits. I was there as a guest at a party a while back the Staff were rude from start to finish The lady on the front desk couldn’t be bothered to look up for her phone to let us know where we were going

The bar team were slow but not too bad

And at the end the security guard was incredibly rude and asking people to leave

Then all the staff arrived to help themselves to the food rather than giving an option to take it home
