Most likely the worst restaurant I've been to, Iceland offering might have more flavour to it. It's an insult to Turkish cuisine in addition to it being a rip off for what it is: a greasy, vinegary slap. That in addition to a very aggressive staff obviously not having any shame in serving it and demanding customers happiness despite. In any case the experience spoiled my evening and left me fuming. Poor service that's not accepting any honest feedback (when I said it's inedible leaving the entire dish behind I was called rude).

And I got charged for the nasty experience too which was a joke but hey, I risked it, ordered it so I paid. Waste of time. Waste of money. But I paid the price, i didn't ask for a discount as they claim in their now removed response to this review.

I really think they need to go back to basics and learn hospitality business. If you want nice Turkish go to Sultan in Fargo instead, they know how to cook! P.s.

Having read the reply to this review, I have no words. I paid the bill in it's entity merely expressing my bemusement at being charged for this. I hardly touched the food as it was simply inedible. I have a photo of the food which looked pathetic and almost the full dish was returned to where it came from, which I guess was a bin. But I paid. I didn't ask for a discount. And, to the aggressive boshorus staff: don't ask for feedback if you are not prepared to hear it. If you are trying to intimidate me saying that you recorded me (not) eating the food: erm, Excuse me? I mean, are you even for real recording people in a restaurant? I hope everyone reading this feels the same: eating in a place that offers no privacy in itself is a blooming joke. Really nice , Turkish restaurant the food on offer tastes amazing , it's well cooked the decore of the restaurant feels authentic the waiting staff are pleasant .

Overall the place makes you feel like a holiday restaurant well it did on the day we went , warm air glass open view with decor of a modern twist of an old Turkish establishment , with trinkets on the shelves and a beautiful crafted ceiling feature piece and furniture that just feels like turkey , you have a row of high quality stainless bbq style grills that feel like even under the most demanding nights it wouldn't fail to provide you with the Turkish culinary delights , it also has a freezer fridge full of cold desert that looks very foreign anyone who has traveled will know what I mean it feels very authentic and homely with two floors to provide you with Turkish flavor. If your ever in the area pop in you shouldn't be disappointed I was more then impressed and the portions are ample . What is the Achilles heal of this great restaurant is the parking although it's only a short bus ride probably 5 minutes from the town centre or a 15 minute walk it's on a quote busy high street , but there are a few bars to enjoy so if you want to start a night out or bring back memories of a trip...

Both the meals and desserts were excellent. We are very happy that we chose Bosphorus Istanbul because they value their customers with the tea and coffee they serve after the meal.
