Subway — Restaurant in Coventry

Been coming here for 10 years and whenever the owners were in it was spot on. I don’t know if there’s been a shift in management or something, but the past few times I have been here it’s been nothing short of awful. I have decided after today that I won’t be using this branch anymore. The worker told me he couldn’t put my sub through the till as I only wanted bacon as my main filling, and proceeded to put hardly any filling in, even if I very politely asked for some extra. I paid £7.30 for something that had hardly anything in it - not to mention my sister’s sub which was even emptier than mine. The previous times that I have been in, the service has been ridiculously slow - as someone who has worked in sandwich shops before, I know it’s not hard to put fillings in quickly and easily. Everytime I’ve been in, customers walk out because the queue takes too long to wait (even if there’s only 2 or 3 people in it!). Ordered remotely using the Subway app to take advantage of the brilliant 2-4-1 Footlong Valentine's offer, got there early and was kindly offered a hot drink since the snowstorm was engulfing the area. The social distancing was clearly marked and all the seating was moved to the side and taped off, there were screens in place between the staff and public and a table for collection. I soon collected my order and walked home only to find I was missing some of my cookies. A quick call to the store solved the problem however. The manager was very understanding and kindly drove out to my house with not only the missing cookies, but extras on top of that and a handful of the (surprisingly comfortable) Subway staff masks. The young woman who served me was completely disinterested and had an attitude problem. I had to repeat myself several times because she simply wasn't listening and didn't seem to care. I had to return my coffee because it was wrong and the cup only half filled. Several months ago I helped to break up a fight that erupted in this Subway whilst I was eating. The latest visit was my first time back since that happened, but I won't be back in a hurry because this branch has just become a hangout for the local youths and it's intimidating to eat food inside.
