Bun & Steak — Restaurant in Coventry

It was like the parent owners had gone out, leaving the teenagers in charge of the restaurant for the evening. Ate in, but zero service. Had to confirm they were open due to the surprised look on their faces. Unfortunately they were either glued to their phones or having a great and noisy time in the back kitchen. Food was served in paper takeout trays, with plastic knives and forks (unlike the pictures). Not invited in, had to ask to sit down, not invited to order, had to get up and get our own drinks, not offered any salt, sauce etc ... noticed half way along it was stacked on the counter. Ignored by staff apart from taking money at the start and putting the food on the table. Shame because the steak was actually tasty, well...

Very disappointed with experience and food at the coventry takeaway, to start, when walking up to the shop, there was 3 staff standing at the door smoking, which was very intimidating and off putting then when making the order it was all very confusing and miss understood and to say 4 times what I wanted. Whilst waiting for the food thr 3 staff came in went straight to the kitchen area to prepare food, either out washing hands. Then seen valine in the kitchen area as well. Once the food came there was all confusion even tho we were the only ones in there. Getting home to eat, the order was wrong only thing right was the cheesy chips which were the worst things...

Its not I can safely review a restraunt or take away with a full 5 stars but I was very impressed with the burger I had. Real beef patties and I had two of them including some sweet potato fries which were done very well, not soggy and also crispy.

The lettuce and pickle's tomatoes etc all came fresh. Staff were both friendly and gave a positive experience, the decor was very nice with the copper piping. Hopefully I'll be able to come again but as I'm just passing through highly unlikely but of you are thinking of eating here take...
