Finest Sunday roast I’ve eaten in a long time - feels like it was made in a home kitchen and great range of veggie options that change every week Team are always lovely and price is very reasonable! Glad you guys are doing roasts again!

Nice public house to visit. Amazing selection of beers, wines and spirits, and very pleasant staff too. If you like White Zinfandel wine, the one they have at The Chestnut Tree, called Jack Rabbit, is superb.

Love this pub - super friendly staff great selection of classic beers and an insane amount of different gin and whiskey, plus the added fun of pool and darts :) and their Sunday roast is to die for ❤️

If I could leave no stars I would.

I was appalled at the this yesterday, we were a family of 20 for a family members birthday and the staff was nothing but rude from the minute we got there. Me and my partner were sat on a table for two (still a part of the 20 people booking) I have allergies so choose not to eat out not only that but to make it easier for the place of visit to be told if your not eating you will have to stand up! We was having a drink, I found it so rude. 2 people had hairs in there food and the portions was terrible! Would never ever visit again, stay well away! They also have dogs in there but no signs so people with pet allergies or...

I hummed & arred about popping to this place for Sunday lunch. Thankgoodness I didn't deliberat too much. Food fantastic, carnivores meal... complete. Yum. My friend had a vegetarian meal. Next time I'm asking for both on one plate. Wow. Well done Chestnut kitchen staff for preparing and delevering an excellent, tasty, ' wanna come back again ' Sunday lunch. In fact...all staff were efficient, courteous and obviously enjoying their employment.. Wonderful to see that a local public house knows what the public needs. A home made dinner by staff that care. Carry on and enjoy...

The beer was good, the cheese and onion roll was huge and the manager put BT on one of the tellys so I could watch Harrogate v Hartlepool despite the fact that everyone else was watching Wolves v Leicester on Sky. It is a really good pub which does real value for money Sunday lunches. My only disappointment was the result of the...
