First time visit, arranged by a friend who's simply read reviews on the web. It was maybe one of the worst places that I have ever eaten in. Under most circumstances, I would have walked out, but didn't wish to embarrass my friends, who also thought it extremely poor. I had a "rib-eye steak". It patently wasn't a rib-eye ... it was very thin, and a nasty grey colour all over .. as thin, and as solid, as a leather boot sole. It was disgusting, truly disgusting. The chips were good. But the coffee was utter filth. It tasted vile. One sip, and I left it. The place had a million TVs around the walls, all showing an international football match at high volume ... and other 'diners' were screaming their heads off. Unless you enjoy utterly rubbish steak, utterly vile coffee, very slow service, and want to be deafened by screaming football fans .... and be charged for all of this ... stay well away from this disgusting place. Seriously. You'd be infinitely better off buying a bag of chips and a piece of fried fish, from the nearest...
Read moreWent for a meal out with the family, excited because first time able to meet since covid. When the waitresses were bringing out our food there was confusion to begin with regarding whose food went where as we were a large group on separate tables. The presuming manager came over to deal with the confusion however the way she spoke to her staff was appalling. She was rude, and the tone was very intimidating, to which my whole family just looked at eachother in shock and it ruined our night. We did ask one of the younger waitresses if she was okay. There was also a group shouting so loudly without consideration to other people visiting the restaurant. Unfortunately won't be returning. Gave 2 stars because although our experience was not what we hoped we were grateful that the railway bar were able to accommodate a larger party but facilaite this on...
Read moreI ordered food from this restaurant through Uber Eats and specifically requested three times for it not to be spicy. When my order arrived, the packaging even stated that it wasn’t spicy—but the noodles were actually very spicy. This is a serious issue because my sister is allergic to spicy food. I called the restaurant, and instead of showing concern, they suggested I come collect a replacement. I explained that I live in Leamington and that this isn’t about the money—it’s about someone’s health. The person I spoke to was very slow to respond, didn’t seem apologetic at all. This kind of negligence is unacceptable. If a restaurant can’t follow such a simple but critical request, it puts customers at serious risk. I will not be ordering from here again, and I strongly advise others to think twice before trusting this place...
