The Devonshire Arms — Restaurant in Coventry

First 🌟 my friend and I went twice to see England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 playing in the world Cup. Both times they won, Great crowed 6 goals score by England so plenty of cheering and camaraderie. Safe and happy people. Security were kind also important.

Second 🌟 plenty of on site parking, large outside smoking area all laid out place for the family to have dinner or chill with mates. Plenty of screens to watch sports, clean toilets and inside as well.

Third 🌟 friendly staff when they acknowledge you, plenty staff there working but doing their own thing, saying hello to you when you walk up to the bar so you know you've been seen.

Forth 🌟 great selection of beers, fresh and served at the right temp. We didn't eat, so don't know about the grub, plenty of people were eating so it can't be that bad

Four 🌟 s only needs a bit of improvement, service to me is a big thing. Still worth visting for...

On Saturday 27/01/24 I visited with a group of girls of which were friends and work colleagues for a birthday and leaving party the pub was chosen by one of the girls . I live in Nuneaton and 60 years old being the ‘old biddy’ I only stayed an hour and forty minutes. The pub definitely has a good atmosphere and although I never ate there I have heard the food is great and thought I might try it with my family for a meal. However, I have received a £100 parking fine! I am extremely upset I have since heard about a computer at the bar, I didn’t attend the bar but wouldn’t have known what to do. The notice I have does say that there is signage but I didn’t see it. Maybe because I was nervous travelling alone at night time everyone else used taxis. I cannot tell you the anxiety this...

We had our first meal here last night, a busy Friday night. We ordered the nachos sharer as our starter and wasn't impressed with these, they were soft, stale and lacked flavour. Presentation was good though but for the cost they were poor value. Our main meals was a surf and turf and garlic prawns, these were much better, if I could fault the prawns I think there was too many but I love prawns. The steak was just the right size and cooked perfectly. The new menu is refreshing and I will definitely eat here again, normally I come here on a Saturday evening for the music as the pub itself is the best...
