Luxury Bakery Ltd — Restaurant in Coventry

I ordered a cake and cupcakes for my daughter's 1st birthday. The cake was uneven, dry and had some bits that had fallen off. I wasn't too bothered but thought as I'd paid a decent amount, I would let the bakery know of my experience.

What bothered me most was the appalling customer service I received. I was spoken over multiple times. I was told that my cake was not dry and that it was fine. I was also told that I should have bought the cake back. We only noticed it was dry when we had cut it up and served it so couldn't bring it back. I asked for a manager or the owner to phone me back. It has been over a week since I phoned and I have heard nothing back. I told them I had photos and they didn't even want...

Absolutely appalling since the new owners took over!! The counter looks very bare, not presentable, no care or effort put into the delicious cakes and biscuits which always used to be available. Just a random selection of unappetising cakes, nothing fancy anymore. The Gingerbread men (usually soft and chewy) are so dry and stale, some were completely burnt on the counter! I have been coming here for years and this is so sad and disappointing to see. No care or love given into the baked goods on sale, place looks untidy and furthermore, the traditional bakery that once was, has unfortunately gone....

AWFUL ! Had been coming here for 11 years for our cakes but honestly gone down hill, the attitude of the member of staff I spoke to was appalling and she did not want to help. I Got a 50th birthday cake for my dad, the ‘5’ on the cake looks like a ‘2’ flipped over and the numbers aren’t even the same size.
