It must be awful working in an airport coffee shop so I can understand why the staff are annoyed, what that means for the customer though is rude service. I didn't need anything out of the ordinary so just the usual ordering and collecting, but ordered without the staff member saying anything to me at all. When I collected my drink she said "latte", I asked "is that decaf?" and she said "what i said", clearly annoyed with me for asking.
Took a long time to make the coffee too and a queue built up even though it wasn't very busy. The tables were filthy.
The food was nice and it's great to have a healthier alternative, but you get less than you're expecting (see photo). Would still eat here again because the food was nice, but will steel myself for the rudeness and bring some wipes with me.

Read moreI’m surprised to see such low reviews for this place, although I guess it can’t help being located in the deepest part of the anus of human suffering, a London airport.
Nice environment, spacious, well fit out and not overcrowded like it’s competitors. The branding is (I’m going to say it) ‘pure’ and doesn’t virtue signal as hard as it’s neighbours.
The food and coffee is healthy and tasty - I guess that’s important. But I didn’t come for overpriced airport food, I came for ambience, to recover from the long mandatory trek through duty free where every sense was attacked for a solid minute.
The only gripe I have is that it falls into the same trap as others in offering measly portions of protein in their salads. Correct this and you have won my fleeting new age barely existent loyalty… maybe.
Also, water taps to fill bottles. A saving grace from what I consider to be the perfected shakedown street. Kudos capitalism. Kudos.
God damn I...
Read moreToday at 5.02am I had the rudest experience ive ever had in a cafe. I usually love my experience at pure. I ordered my Chai Latte from a lovely man at the counter and I was then was waiting for when the number 100 for my coffee was called. It was not called. The older lady at the cafe service then screams in front of other customers after calling out number 101, WHO HASNT PICKED UP THEIR 100 ORDER. Which was me however she had not announced that it was ready, when I promptly went to get it, she said 'Thank you for waking up' smirking and being rude. Even other customers noticed and looked appalled at this lady. I did not say anything and left. She should be ashamed and I hope something is done about this woman's manners and rudeness. As someone who has worked in cafes before I understand it is stressful however that is not an excuse to be rude. If nothing is done about this I will be contacting customer service and getting this looked...
