I recently visited the breakfast club and unfortunately, it was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment I walked in, the customer service was appalling, the food was terrible, and the overall atmosphere was bleak and uninspiring.
Upon arrival, I was asked if I had any food allergies, which I appreciated. However, after being seated and attempting to order, I was told that despite being aware of my allergy, the chef could not use separate equipment. This meant that there was absolutely nothing on the menu I could eat. As a result, I had to go elsewhere for food while my family dined inside. While they allowed me to bring my food in, it was hardly an ideal solution and made for an incredibly frustrating and uncomfortable experience.
The lack of care from the staff was evident throughout. When I requested to swap sugar from another table because mine had hardened into large rocks, I was met with a dismissive response and had to swap it myself. The staff seemed lethargic, uninterested, and completely disengaged, making it clear they did not want to be there.
The only redeeming factor in this entire experience was Adem, who went out of his way to improve my visit. He was attentive, understanding, and made a real effort to provide good service—something the rest of the team sorely lacked. If you ever find yourself at the breakfast club, I’d highly recommend asking for Adem, as he’s the only one who seems to care about both the customers and their food.
Overall, I would not recommend the breakfast club. Poor service, bad food, and a miserable atmosphere make it a place I won’t be returning to...

The moment you step in, the eclectic decor sets the tone—a retro-inspired ambiance that feels both nostalgic and fresh, creating a welcoming atmosphere that’s a perfect escape from the usual airport bustle.
One of the standout features is the innovative concept of ordering food. It’s a seamless blend of modern technology and efficient service that allows you to place your order without any hassle. Whether you're tech-savvy or prefer the traditional way, the process is smooth and intuitive, making your dining experience enjoyable and stress-free.
The menu is as diverse as it is delicious, with a fantastic selection of beers that cater to all tastes. Whether you’re in the mood for something light or a more robust brew, their collection will not disappoint. It's rare to find such a well-curated selection at an airport, making it a great spot for beer enthusiasts.
As for the food, I opted for the nachos, and they were spot on. Generously portioned with all the right toppings, they were the perfect balance of crispy and cheesy, with just the right amount of spice. It’s clear that quality and flavor are a priority here, which is often hard to come by in airport dining.
Overall, The Breakfast Club at Gatwick Airport is a must-visit. It’s not just a place to grab a bite; it’s a spot where you can unwind and enjoy your time before a flight. With its cool vibes, fantastic ordering concept, great beer selection, and delicious food, it sets a new standard for...
Read moreWe came here for breakfast at ungodly early in the morning. We were seated rather quickly, but our flight was during the week and out of holiday season so that might not be representative of your situation.
We ordered by phone using a QR code on the table but we also observed an elderly couple ordering with a waitress. We weren’t really told which to do, just given a table.
The prices are high but still one of the cheaper options we found if you are looking for a simple, warm, sit down breakfast.
The drinks arrived almost instantaneous, and the food was rather quick as well.
The orange juice is £5 for a tiny glass that is mostly filled with ice. It has a lot of pulp and was rather sour, but it did wake us up. Not quite worth the price - even at the airport. The Cappuccino is quite small but good.
We ordered eggs benedict, most of the portion is a thick muffin, the bacon is American style and rather crunchy which made it difficult to cut with those tiny wannabe knifes (airport cutlery…) and the muffin. The hollondaise was nice and smooth. The poached eggs looked like they could star in an advertisement - perfect egg shape and cooked to perfection. The outside was very stable so it didn’t break apart as soon as it got touched.
Overall rather expensive, rather small but rather quick. The little human interaction we got was lovely, in particular the women welcoming us in, who also checked up on...
