All of the lounges are in the same general area. This one had quite a queue when we arrived. Two people at the desk and we waited around 5-7 minutes to get to the desk and then in.

When we went in, there were numerous dirty tables. We let someone know because we had planned to sit at one but after a few minutes we moved.

The bar had about 10-12 people queued up. So we waited, but decided to get two so as not to re-queue. That was the busiest we saw it, but it almost always had around 6-8 people waiting.

There were a number of agua frescos including cucumber, lemon and lim lo e and a grapefruit option.

It was lunch, so there was farro salad, pasta salad, tomato soup, bread, cheese, chicken with corn and beans and a few other options. Everything was incredibly bland and lacked any sort of seasoning apart from the chicken.

The rooms were all incredibly warm outside of the library. This is essentially a quieter space marked for those 12 years of age and older. However, there was clearly no one monitoring this. We saw numerous young kids in there and as we left we saw a stroller.

For many of these international airport lounges this is somewhat comparable. If it’s included in Priority pass you do ok. I wouldn’t likely pay to get in given the lines and poor food quality, you would be better off spending the money eating somewhere.

😜Gatwick Airport – North Terminal😜

Rating: 4.2 / 5

I recently visited the North Terminal at Gatwick Airport and overall had a mostly positive experience. The terminal offers a wide range of shops and dining options, including Wagamama, Pret, Shake Shack, and BrewDog. Shopping is enjoyable with well-known stores like Harrods, Jo Malone, and WHSmith.

There are also useful amenities such as free Wi-Fi, charging stations, and family-friendly areas with kids’ play zones, which make waiting more comfortable.

However, there are a few areas where improvements could be made. The walk through the duty-free section after security can be quite confusing, with many twists and turns and no clear shortcuts. During peak hours, the terminal often gets overcrowded, making it hard to find available seating.

The lounge areas, such as the No1 Lounge, are a great option with complimentary food and drinks, but they too can become overcrowded, which affects the overall comfort and service quality.

In summary, Gatwick’s North Terminal delivers a solid experience with plenty of food, shopping, and convenience, but be prepared for occasional crowding and less intuitive navigation through certain parts of...

. Number 1 lounge at Gatwick north terminal looks great in the promotional photos but in reality it’s a sorry state . The decor is very 1970s looking and it’s badly in need of an overhaul. Floors are dirty and full of food crumbs .The seating areas have seen better days to say the least as you can see by the photos . The food on offer is sub standard . Put it bluntly if you had to pay for it you wouldn’t bother . Only the cheese and crackers look appetising. No air conditioning so can get very hot and uncomfortable if the only tables available are by the windows . The entire place is in need of a total overhaul in my opinion. Staff are friendly and helpful so that’s a good thing . On another plus side most drinks are free after you have paid the entrance fee ( £100 for two adults and one child ) so if you want to get tanked up before your holiday then it’s worth the money at least Would I stay here again …no For a piss up lads or lasses holiday = yes definitely. To relax in luxury before a family vacation = no way Premier lounge upstairs is miles...

This was my first time visiting the No1 Lounge at Gatwick Airport, and I had a great experience! Despite our early flight, I was surprised to see how busy it was even at 5:00 AM. The hot breakfast was delicious and freshly prepared, and there was a wide variety of drinks available from fresh juices and soft drinks to a full selection of hot beverages. A comfortable and relaxing start to our journey!
