The food was good but the positives stop there. We walked in and there were about my 4 people in the whole place as it was a Tuesday morning so pretty quiet. We were shown to a table for 2 however the sun was glaring through the window so we opted to move the next table which was a table for 4. We were immediately told to move from the man at the bar to a table for 2 so we ended up at the back of the restaurant feeling slightly scolded. 5 mins after that another couple walked in and did the exact same thing as us and sat at table for 2 not a word was said and they had their breakfast at a table for 4. Apparently the rules don’t apply to everyone. The gentleman serving us was not friendly or hospitable instead it felt like we were inconveniencing him. The food came out after a little while but was barely warm but figured we wouldn’t get much help so didn’t bother sending it back. Asked for an organ he juice, never arrived. Asked for tap water when the food was served also never arrived. Bill took quiet a while to arrive considering by the time we left there was only a group of 3 ladies in there. If the service is this bad on a quiet Tuesday morning god knows what it’s like when it’s busy. Will not...
Read moreCute little place. Dog friendly which is my biggest bonus! Friendly service and warm atmosphere. Menu is reasonable and good choice for everyone. I opted for the Mushroom and spinach Benedict. I was expecting the mushroom and spinach to be cooked together but it came out fresh, mushroom on top nicely cooked though. Eggs were perfect and sauce was very tasty. No seasoning needed. Finished off with a banana cake which was delicious The shakshouka looked gorgeous when it walked past and the English breakfasts looked decent too! Will be back to try some more food! £22 for Virgin Mary, Benedict and...
Read moreBusy with attentive staff. I had the English breakfast. The breakfast was filling. I have two criticisms. The fried eggs had salt on them. Which for me totally ruined the taste. Also, the sausage contained herbs. I could not even discern which herbs because they overpowered my taste buds and I felt there was too much salt in the sausages as well. I don't believe you should use herb flavoured sausages for breakfast. And as for the cook putting salt on the fried eggs, that should be up to the person...
