McDonald's — Restaurant in Dacorum

So today 17th September myself and my grandfather decided to have a McDonald’s, I drove into the drive through and we spent £40. At the collection window we was asked if we wanted sauces we said yes bbq and sweet and sour, I had chicken selects and got 1 Smokey bbq but my grandfather wanted sour cream and chives. They refused to give us the sauce unless we paid 50p my grandfather said with all due respect iv paid £40 for food I’m sure you can give me 1 chives dip the girl who served us laughed and said no il be 50p out of pocket. With this my grandad said you won’t the company will, he again said it’s only a dip I’m sure your manager wouldn’t complain over a dip! She then said give me the bbq and il swap it to which I said I want the bbq he wants chives so she said you can’t have both. At this point we have held the que and my grandad now getting frustrated with how this girl was talking to him he decided to get out the car and talk at the window. After they said they wasn’t giving him the sauce he come back to the car and the girl said “what you going to do, your a 70 year old man” whilst laughing! My grandad went back to the window and the girl slammed the windows shut laughing saying what ya guna do bruv, I know someone might say it’s petty it is a sauce just pay but if you pay £40 worth of food how can they still charge for a dip. What’s McDonald’s coming to. The disrespect the staff have for there costumers is a shamble. To top it off we get home and they never put the cheese dippers in the bag! So they won’t give a free sauce yet don’t put bits of your food in the bag. They lost me...

My beef with MD (that tends to get itself in a jam with poor customer services). I understand & get it that mistakes happen, all part of being human however, it's clear MD without prejudice needs visit to spec savers. Many of our orders have arrive with missing/'s items like today. Half our item arrived & unless my name has been changed by deed poll half someone else's too. Oh so such fun playing MD's version of the TV series 'Who Wants Be A Millionaire.' 50:50 will my order arrive all correct? Then the added anticipation do I need phone the delivery company? Any time contact MD they tend to chicken out & won't accept responsibility, certainly fishy when 'free' items fail to arrive as well. By other reviews seems we're not only one's who's encounter issues with MD. Paper straws let's face it, not nice getting a mouthful of paper (unless one is wasp or a Rodent.) Not wanting milk it further with waffle but MD need to Whip into shape by improving on customer services & ensuring high standards are met at all times & not leave customers dissatisfied, out of pocket (& food.), are given poor service. Before I wrap up this review, on a side salad 🥗 note we miss Burger King!! Indeed Whimpy Bar. To tune of Old McDonald had a farm" MD's have many burger joints ei ei eio, & often deliveries arrive incorrect ei ei eio. Customers end up annoyed and leave reviews here, MD are not helpful there & missing items, poor services is a very big issue...

I visited to MC Donald’s last night after watching a film with my sister and partner. My sister wanted 6 nuggets and my partner and I hadn’t decided what we wanted to do we decided to wait to order and allow my sister to order.

We used the drive through as the app was down for all restaurants in and around Hemel Hempstead. We ordered the 6 nuggets and treated very well at the point of order and paying. When we collected the nuggets the server asked for sauce options which my sister requested sweet and sour. The server gave 1 sauce and my sister requested another. The server then refused and said no she can only have 1 which I thought originally was a joke. I said can we have the sauce which he again refused and repeated you only ordered 6 nuggets so you only need 1. I offered to pay which he said ‘yeah that’s 20 pence. I said yes but I need a car machine to which he said no. He then told me if you want sauce I can get out the car and go inside or go back round to order the sauce and pay. When I said that ridiculous and I won’t move on because it’s not fair. He shouted to someone to ‘call the police’ I have not felt so embarrassed. I am disabled so getting out of the car is not an option. I asked for the manager and he said he was the manager. I left feeling like I had just...
