The Lodge Bar & Kitchen — Restaurant in Dacorum

We ordered at the bar , as there is not table order, crispy chciken strips, nothing amazing, however at £8 I did not have huge amounts expectation, Alpine Schnitzel was decent size, the only thing , salad was without any dressing, again at £13 maybe we were expected to bring our own dressing, chicken schnitzel burger was so small that to me looked kid portion, when mentioned the young man , he said sorry, hope you enjoy it and left. Disappointing especially when everything is so expensive as a proper restaurant but only food delivered to the table. Lovely food. Been here a few times.. it's been always a good experience. Very nice place. Professional, friendly and polite staff. Free wifi. Easy to order using the QR code on the table or directly at the till. Doesn't take long from order to serving. They have many allergen options including Gluten free buns for the burgers. I thought I’d treat myself to the Lodge breakfast whilst watching my son skiing. When ordering, I was asked for my table number and we’ll bring it over the young girl said.
