Starburger — Restaurant in Dacorum

Visiting a friend we went here … all I can say is shocking ,, unable to follow instructions … no beans with kids meal means just that ,, then there were the fish fingers which were burnt with dried slithering of fish inside ,,, cheap & bad quality… I felt sorry for my child tbh ,,, then onto my meal ,,, undercooked chicken burger which wasn’t even a full fillet but sliced up piece to which was undercooked on one side & sent back … my friends pie was edible ,, then again it can’t be hard to heat up ready made pie … I’m not sure who reviews this to over 4 stars but they clearly don’t eat out or have low standards. I walked away hungry … thanks !

UPDATE!!!!! MY FRIEND TOLD ME SHE WAS CHARGED OVER £20 EVEN THOUGH THE WAITRESS WAS TAKING OFF THE CHARGE FOR THE UNTOUCHED BURGER WE WERE CHARGED FOR IT … NO RECEIPT GIVEN AND ONLY CASH ACCEPTED, FRAUDSTERS!! ! I WILL BE REPORTING THE BUSINESS TO THE COUNCIL & TRADING STANDARDS FOR THE AUDACITY ....

Been there for a first time and I was pleased how tasty my burger was. Proper good meat, sauce and decent chips. Paid around £9.50 for double burger and cup of orange juice. Something to improve: sauces directly served with the burger without customer needing to ask for it. When I asked they gave me ketchup and mayo. The mayo wasn’t very good. Would be brilliant if they serve home made mayo or garlic mayo. They’ll kill it. Waitresses were very friendly and nice. Helped me with my burger choice. Noticed many old people visiting and seemed like they were regulars. This is only a good sign. Very cozy and friendly atmosphere. Didn’t have time to take a pic, but will deffo come back with my son and husband and will upload...

Really impressed with both the service and the food. We had the Brunch Breakfast and Toast; it was delicious! Best bacon I've ever had and plenty of it. Beans appeared to be Heinz rather than the cheap alternatives many places seem to do these days (which can ruin the breakfast imo). The only downside was that the Heinz ketchup bottles on the tables had clearly been refilled and NOT with Heinz - a shame, but that's the only thing I can fault them on.
