The Bank Cocktail Bar & Bistro — Restaurant in Derbyshire Dales

I was so excited about coming to The Bank as I booked the interactive darts experience and pizza and cocktails for my friends hendo. Contacting them was difficult from the start. I initially wanted to book the cocktail masterclass, which was advertised on their website. After three weeks of badgering they finally got back to me and said they no longer did this, which meant I booked the darts. I then sent off our food order prior to us visiting as there was 14 of us. When we arrived at the venue, Tia greeted us and we selected out how we were going to pay, which was great. We then did the darts, which was so much fun and we really enjoyed it. The staff kept checking to see if we needed more drinks, which was great. After the darts had finished, we went to our table and waited for the pizzas to come out. Two pizzas came out and then we had to wait a long time before we received anymore. We asked why the others hadn’t come out and was told that they could only cook two pizzas at a time and there would be a 10 minute wait between each two. We were not informed of this prior and we’re very disappointed. By 9:00pm we had only received 5 pizzas in an hour and there were 14 of us so we cancelled the rest and ended up having to share what was left of the pizzas that had already come out. The quality of the pizzas was disappointing and not like the pictures they advertise. Overall, we left disappointed and hungry. I had such an amazing time at this cocktail bar! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm, stylish, and inviting – the perfect place to relax and enjoy a drink.

Special shoutout to Julia and Tia, who were absolutely incredible. They were friendly, attentive, and genuinely made me feel welcome. Not only do they know their cocktails inside out, but they also have such a great energy that makes the whole experience even better. Julia’s recommendations were spot-on, and Tia’s cocktail-making skills are next level – I don’t think I’ve ever had a better Pina colada!

If you’re looking for top-quality drinks, a great vibe, and staff who make you feel like a valued guest, this is the place to go. Can’t wait to come back! 🍸

Visiting this lovely little town over the weekend and we found a cocktail bar and thought we’d give it a try… did not disappoint! They had availability for me and my family to play darts, which was spectacular for a such a good system! The staff Kept checking on us for more drinks, they could not have been any more accommodating! After, we sat down for some food and more drinks, 2-4-1 cocktails on a Sunday all day and a great range to pick from too.
