Was staying locally and went on a Monday night. Food was excellent; Poppadoms, Tardka deal, Mix Veg Bujia, Naans, Tandoori Roti and Mixed kebab starter. With bonus of take your own alcohol. It's a shame we live in Leicester as would return here often. In Leicester the food (no matter where we have been) contains too much masala and too much salt. I am Punjabi and enjoy my spice, but too often the restaurant food goes through me, as a result we only eat out if invited out. Red Chilli was flavourful, spiced just under what I normally have (no bad thing), good portions with large naan and roti. The masala did not linger in me for days after. For a random Monday night, there were a few people eating in, with a busy takeaway.

We stopped by here on our way home from a visit and were really glad we did. Ahmed looked after us and he was fantastic – very attentive, friendly, and welcoming. He had such a happy, positive energy that made us feel comfortable straight away. We were unfortunately very tired from travelling, otherwise we’d have loved to have a proper chat with him! The restaurant itself was tidy, beautifully set out, and had a really nice atmosphere. The food was delicious, full of flavour, and came at very good prices for the quality. It’s clear a lot of care goes into both the service and the dishes. A great place to stop for a meal – highly recommend :)

Awful and bland food. Worst Indian food I have tried. Ppl at Red chilli please stop drowning your food in oil, ghastly food colouring and consider adding spices instead. You can start with salt and 'red chilli'. Chicken was too dry like it had been cooked yesterday or at the very least hours earlier.

Review for a Restaurant: I had the pleasure of dining at this remarkable restaurant during my recent trip, and I must say it was a delightful find. The moment I stepped inside, I was greeted with a warm and inviting ambiance that set the stage for a memorable culinary experience.

The food at this restaurant was nothing short of exceptional. Every dish I tried was not only delicious but also showcased the authenticity of the cuisine. From the first bite to the last, I savored the flavors and textures that truly transported me to the heart of the culinary tradition they represented.

I was particularly thrilled to discover this restaurant during my trip. It added a layer of excitement and discovery to my journey, and I am grateful to have experienced the culinary treasures it had to offer.

The service was impeccable, with a knowledgeable and attentive staff that went above and beyond to ensure my dining experience was flawless. The attention to detail and genuine passion for their craft were evident in every aspect of the restaurant.

I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking a truly remarkable dining experience. You will undoubtedly appreciate the delicious and authentic food, as well as the warm and welcoming atmosphere. This restaurant is a true gem that should...

I visited this Amazing Indian restaurant on Monday (08.10.18) upon a reccomendation from a friend. At first sight we did not think it was going to be a good experiance however i have to admit it was one of the best Dining experiance that i have ever experianced and me along with my family all had wonderful things to say about this wonderful indian. On arrival we were greeted by a chap called Ahmed. He took our coats and bags and put them away securely for us and from that moment the service provided was of an exceptionally high standard between the two waiters that were serving us. We had starters main course as well as desserts and we did not have to wait long at all. Excellent quality of food topped with top quality service and very reasonabally priced. Well done to all the team at this wonderfull place especially to the two waiters Ahmed and Amar both who did a fantastic job talking us through the menu and hats off to Amar who even made time to keep our overly active 4 year old company and who still asks about him. Well done to Red...

Food was mediocre at best, service was horrible, we ended up with upset stomachs and diarrhea. Ordered butter chicken, veg briyhani, red chili chicken. The butter chicken was the worst I’ve ever had!! It didn’t taste like any butter chicken I’ve ever had before, it wasn’t cooked properly and there were raw bits of garlic and ginger - the chicken wasn’t tender and the curry was chunky (should be creamy and smooth) and flavorless. The veg briyhani was bad too - bland and tasteless, oddly served with a bowl of curry like the butter chicken curry? The spice should be in the briyhani- not on the side. The red chili chicken curry was decent, but the chicken was added later in the cooking process, so it wasn’t tender and didn’t have the curry flavor. We waited for over an hour for our mains...so we ordered spicy papadoms and samosas while we waited...samosas were from a frozen bag - not real samosas with authentic pastry. Sad experience for a authentic...
