Twenty Ten — Restaurant in Derbyshire Dales

Well where do I start.. this as been a brilliant pub up till now... Last week there was 3 girls running it, well I say running it. They was very loud with each other. They was more into themselves, than looking after the customers that was in. This week there was a young lad by himself, he didn't know what he was doing. We ordered our food and drinks and he said he'd bring them when they was ready and took our money for them. 15 minutes later he informed us that they hadn't got wot we'd ordered. He hadn't even got our drinks ready. So we asked for a refund, he went in the kitchen to ask how to refund us, and came back and told us it was sorted, and it should be back on our card. I checked my account, and he said it takes time to go back on. We're still waiting for a refund. After 4 years of going in there, we'll not be going back. Terrible service, and terrible staff. Ok, so we continue our journey. The wine bar has left much to be desired so you cross the road. You’ve heard rumours they’ve got the vocation on draught. The rumours are confirmed and the pint is delicious. You get a side of cheesy chips and really settle in. Half of the pint is down and you realise, oh, I need a wee. You pootle on over to the ladies toilets. You arrive; you’re greeted with the most overwhelming stench of piss. Hmmm, no thanks. Nevertheless you still need to empty your bladder so you accept your fate. You sit down, oh, no lock on the door. It doesn't look like a pub, but don't be put off - it's not a trendy yoof bar. It has several Camra awards for its real ales, of which there are usually at least 4 available on hand pump, plus many more craft ales and others delivered electrically or bottled. Its clientele is pleasantly mixed, young and old, visitors and locals, and the pies are great! If there's a big game on the TV it gets noisier, but it's still a great place for a drink by yourself or with friends.
