C C'S CAFE — Restaurant in Doncaster

Where to start, not your day with a breakfast here thats for sure 🥴

Walked in and was ignored for 10 minutes while staff "dealt with" a complaint over the phone - told a customer they had no idea where there food was and they'd call them back later? Should have seen the signs from the beginning 🤦‍♀️. Was then served and seated, not bad. Got breakfast.. bread instead of French toast as ordered and no drinks, forgave this and asked for drinks after a few minutes (very politely) to be completely blanked, no recognition or answer at all. We were the only 3 in and they had 3 staff members.

So far we have service worse than what I get from my 6 year olds imaginary cafe and unfortunately the food was no better, If anything worse.

Eggs? Under cooked whites and yolks that you could bounce off a wall,probably damaging it.. lovely to dip your toast in if they do give it you🥴 Bacon? Somehow burnt but also raw at the same time, seasoned with what I can only imagine was some surface cleaner which obviously, tastes delicious 🥴 Sausages? Maybe about 1% meat, who knows what the rest was🥴 Toast? The only reason it wasn't unpleasant is because it had absolutely no taste what so ever, same goes for the hash browns. Black pudding? Hint of tyre 🥴 Beans and tomatoes were okay, probably because they're the only thing that can survive a microwave 🤦‍♀️

Left pretty much a full plate after taking a bite of each item to see if there was anything at all worth saving. £20+ in food and didn't even feel I could salvage the tap water tea.

New years day, absolutely nowhere open and I still wish I'd not gone here🤦‍♀️ wouldn't recommend unless you like undercooked while also burnt food with cleaning product as your only flavour.

Bonus comments - complaining customer came in after being fobbed off. Turns out the food he paid for had been delivered somewhere else. Delivery driver told him he was then was not then was the delivery driver twice and didn't know where the food had gone while another staff member told him again, it had been...

Not often I leave reviews but first time trying this place after smiths prices have gone ridiculous and its absolutely outstanding food and great value! Not greasy and bland like smiths either. Lady that served me was lovely. Will be my new go...
