Mama Mia 💞 A fantastic meal for 5! Very nice setting and staff were really friendly. We booked a table online for 17:30 on a Friday and it was fairly quiet when we walked in. It was picking up a bit as we left around 19:30. We had starters, half portion mains for the kids, and deserts (The chocolate 🍫 brownie was yummy 😋 and the raspberry Pavlova was sweet, refreshing and epic!) A couple of large glasses of white wine 🥂 J2Os, cappuccino ☕ and we spent circa £150. The service was a little slow between starter and main, but the food made up for it. I had the Fillet steak Diane, cooked medium. It was nice and melted in my mouth, cooked perfectly I might add. £30 was a bit steep for the 8oz and chips. I had to order a portion of seasonal veg on top. There are other items on the menu that are better value. Mrs S had a lasagne and it looked great, and a decent portion, she couldn't finish it. The eldest had an adult spaghetti 🍝 Bolognese - said it tasted Herby 🤣 that'll be the Oregano, I had a bite and it tasted lovely 😍 Access ♿ is good from the car park. A couple of disabled bays in the car park also. Good access to the table and toilets. Toilets 🚻 were nice and clean. We look forward to coming back in the near future 🙂 thanks for hosting us 🤩☕❤️ If you found this review helpful please give it a like ✅🙏👍🤩🍦

Although it wasn't the 1st visit hear for my wife and I, and it was a special occasion for us, we had a wonderful time here. The food was a little more expensive than we would normally go for but wow, it really was fantastic. The atmosphere had a 'holiday' feel to it, everyone smartly dressed and all having a great time, I little too noisy/busy if you were intending to have a quiet romantic evening at a good restaurant, but it was 6.30 on a Saturday night so it added to the holiday/party air to the place. Prices were pretty good, the £5 each cocktails were going down a bit too easily, so that bumped the bill up some..... well.....abit. So, without the drinks, it came to £50 2xstarter, 2xmain and 1xside. Really nice, would recommend this place for adult parties and or gatherings. I booked our evening on there website, really easy, confirmation came an hour later as they weren't open at time of booking.

Stumbled across this restaurant by chance on Google as we were in the area for a family day out. It was a busy Saturday evening, and we were able to get a table without a booking, although it was super busy. We ordered: Homemade garlic bread 5.95 Calamari fritti 7.95 Funghi trifolati 7.50 Linguine allo scoglio 15.95 Salmone in salsa astice 24.95 Tagliatte carbonara 12.95 The staff were super attentive, took our drinks orders right away, and it came really quickly. The restaurant was full of large tables for birthday parties, and their service from ordering the food to taking our empty plates away were pretty impressive. Nice friendly staff who were chatty (shout out to the cool guy Niaz 🤩). Always checking if we were OK etc. All in all, great food, great atmosphere, and great experience. Will definitely recommend it to anyone who is in the area and fancy a good Italian fix!

Terrible Terrible Service. I say terrible service, it was actually quite atrocious. We'd booked ahead and on entering we were told, in no uncertain terms, it's busier than we expected, we close at 9 and there's only one chef so there'll be a wait. We were then curtly waved to a table. As it was only 7.20pm we didn't mind too much. On deciding what to eat we asked the waitress to take the order to which we were told "There's a wait". What?? To take the order. Errr, yeah, ok. Pass. Drinks arrived, followed by starters / appetisers, which came out slowly, one then a few minutes later another 2 followed eventually by the 4th. I asked for the wine list, gave my choice and was told "We don't have that", 2nd, 3rd and 4th choice "We don't have" Would you care to tell me what you DO have?? The waitress then went to another table, started taking their order and half way through walked away to greet 2 new arrivals (Who promptly left, Obviously didn't want to serve them) then returned to the rest of their order. 2 of our mains arrived so we waited for the other 2. One arrived, followed by another tables 2 meals, followed by a different tables meal (We're still waiting). EVENTUALLY the 4th meal came. It was blatantly obvious the waitress didn't want to work that evening but was obviously willing to be paid by the remarks made when delivering the 4th meal, "Huh, I can't believe how busy we are, I wanted a quiet night and to close early" NOT the kind of thing anyone in hospitality should be really saying to paying guests. The food wasn't too bad but trying to find a decent restaurant in Doncaster of late has become an ever increasing mountainous trek. What should have been an enjoyable evening was ruined by disgraceful service with proffered unwarranted remarks. Try and find a restaurant where service is...

TLDR: Halbut was really amazing and the star of the show would go again just for that, M&B special pizza should be a salad, Calamari good, Antipasti board not with the money - get a lot of meat but needed some bread etc.

Went on the 1st of February. There is limited parking at the restaurant but we managed to find a space when someone left.

The restaurant is nice and large and was busy, which created a nice atmosphere but perhaps was a little too loud.

Starters were Calamari and Antipasti Misto.

Calamari was very good would order again, only a light batter but cooked properly. Would order again

Antipasti Misto board was various cured meat cheese and olives with salad. Nice overall but lacking some bread and there wasn't enough cheese in proportion to the amount of meat. Wouldn't order again. I feel like the same thing could be made at home with a selection pack from lidl and be no different.

Mains we ordered were the M&B Special Pizza and the Halibut fish dish.

The pizza was well priced at 9.10. The pizza was nice but a bit too much for me. Next time I would order a pizza with less toppings. Although I enjoyed it, it was all a little too much and perhaps would be better as a salad not a pizza but that's my bad for ordering it

The halibut was AMAZING like the best fish dish I have had in a while. The risotto was really taste and not chalky at all and the fish was super tender with a crispy skin. The pea puree brought the entire dish together and it was just wonderful I would go back to just order this. Really amazing dish. Was £16.95 thought so definitely a dearer item than the pizza and pasta but I get the feeling this is what...

Been out with a party of a fair few people. Where can I start? We sat down at half 7 and was offered wine menu and given a menu we ordered starters and they came all together presented nicely and the food was outstanding however 2 HOURS later we had our mains all given out at the same time all presented nicely however these looks are deceiving the calzone was cold in the middle the steak was either uncooked or over cooked the past was cold the garlic bread wasn’t even garlic it was a margarita. We then proceeded to complain to one of the staff so they took it away reheated it and then we didn’t know who’s pizza was whos etc and then they didn’t like getting explained to them why we was getting annoyed as we didn’t know who’s food was whos. Then we all got agrovated as they wasn’t been good waiters and being compliant. So we stood up and proceeded to walk out they offered money off the bill which wasn’t even £2 per meal Then they started to get aggressive then they blocked the door raised their voices and insisted of us sitting down as we have just had a bad experience with food so we was wanting to leave so them blocking the exit we proceeded to push back as it’s “holding us against our will” so we pushed a few people out as they were closing the door on everyone who was wanting to leave an elderly lady got her hand stuck a young lass was getting pushed the police was called and sadly nothing could’ve been done as it was our word against there as they never had cctv in the foyer this is a reminder that colesseo staff are VIOLENT and if you don’t like they’re food they don’t care they’ll lock you in...
