I have to say, I was a little apprehensive about visiting for the first time, as I had tried Fazendas a few years ago and came away not understanding what all the hype was about.
Firstly, booking is easy, I opted for Estabulos website, picked a date, picked a time slot, and done. Arrived around 10 minutes early and we were seated straight away, very friendly front of house staff despite them being packed at this point.
Drinks order was taken immediately and the (I'm assuming) wait supervisor took the time to explain the whole experience to us, then directed us to the salad bar and told us to turn our cards over when we were ready. She was super friendly and couldn't do enough for us.
The salad bar is full of perfect accompaniments to the vast amount of meat that is on the menu. Deli meats, cheeses, various coleslaws, potato salad and other savoury offerings, which, I would advise not filling up on. They also bring out baskets of fries for the table, which are included in the price, again, don't fill up on those when there's 15 kinds of meat to have a go at!
We sat down, turned our cards to green, and were greeted with a plethora of wonderfully cooked meats. Now, we were advised that all of the beef will come out medium rare, and if that isn't to our liking, they are happy to cook it less/more, dependant on our taste. If I'm brutally honest, most of the steaks came out on the rarer side of things, but that didn't bother me or the Mrs any, as that is how we enjoy our steak.
Very attentive wait staff, we were asked multiple times if we wanted more drinks and if we had any specific meat requests, either something that hadn't come out yet, or more of something we liked. For a table of two, you have an hour and a half time slot to fill yourselves to the brim, which is more than enough. We didn't rush at all and were done in just over an hour.
All in all, I have to say the experience was outstanding, great staff and a welcoming place to eat. To put things into perspective for people on the fence about going, for myself and the Mrs to eat and two rounds of drinks, it was just over £100, so not somewhere we could eat every week, but for the carnivore in you, do yourself a favour and try it at least once. I look forward to...
Read moreNow then pal, I was gifted a £50 gift voucher for this joint as a xmas present so we decided to have a meander round donny and try this Brazilian out. A nice free car park greeted us surrounded by plenty of other eateries and shopping outlets. We arrived early but were shown to our table for our dinner date which was ready and waiting. 1st impressions were good 👍 the joint looked very posh to be fair and even without eating I was dreading the bill! The girl serving us explained how these places work, basically use the stop and go sign to indicate feed me or I'm fat and had enough. You then go fill your plate from the delightful salad bar, I whacked some cracking pasta, potatoes, eggs, French stick and other bits and bobs on my plate then returned to wait for my meat carving man to arrive. 1st out was the chicken heart, didn't know what to think of this bad boy but whacked 2 miniscule pieces on my plate and devoured them....not bad. Next out we had minted lamb, then gammon, then rump steak, then bbq ribs, then to my delight pigs in blankets and these bad boys were devine! Next we had the Brazilian sausage and I tell you what pal the carver missed the plate and the sausage ended up on the floor where it stayed for the next half hour and it was a great watch........I was hoping someone would slip on the slippery sausage.....but unfortunately it wasn't to be and the delightful manager came and mopped the dangler up. Had to wait a while for the chicken and bacon but it showed up eventually and by this time I had had enough and called time on the food. Finished the ode pint of pepsi max then asked for the bill. Talk about nearly fainting or what pal.....the total was £118 so even with my £50 voucher it still nearly cost me £70, talk about having your pants pulled down or what pal! So I left with a fatter belly, a lighter wallet and made sure I grabbed 4 mints. Definitely one of those special meal kinda occasion places but was enjoyable especially with the...
Read moreLast week was my first time eating at Estabulo's, my verdict was 😍😋. Totally Wow!!!. I love the self serve salad bar anyways but theirs is another level. With Brazilian inspired recipes and great salad additions such as Chorizo sausage slices, olives and pork scratchings. The meat serving system is so amazing. Its like a carvery but all the meat is bbq grill style and its brought to your table!! How amazing is that. You can flip the card to the red side to show you don't want any meat at the moment but flip to green and there is a constant flow of mouthwatering meat to choose from, and its as much as you want. There are always multiple meats served at any one time so there is lots of choice. Most meat is served medium but you can specify well done with a sign on your tablet if you prefer it abit more cooked through. I prefer mine medium or rare but I must say even the meat classed as well done is still cooked through but still mouth wateringly juicy where as Most of the time you would associate well done with being dry and chewy there's is Most definitely still nice and moist.
This is my favourite place on earth to eat. The service is also top class. The young gentleman who looked after us during our meal was by far the most kind, courteous and Respectful table staff member I have ever had the privilege to be served by. All the staff are smartly dressed, very helpful and polite.
To be honest I was in awe of how good it was, the food, the decore, the service, everything was flawless. The price was fixed for the food per person as well and its massively impressive value for money. All I can say is that this is basically food heaven for anyone who loves bbq grill food, and it has that lovely Brazilian party vibe to it as well....
