I don't know if the restaurant reads these but thought I'd review anyway in hopes someone sees it. We came yesterday, 24/5/24 around 10pm maybe a bit before. I nearly always don't go to places near closing time for many reasons, but mainly because I have worked retail/hospitality myself and I know it can suck trying to close down and serve at the same time. But we did just for once, we've been before so know how to order & pay etc. we knew pretty much what we wanted anyway, wouldn't be ordering a lot of dishes and knew we could be out a good time before closing. We ordered drinks straight away too to save time there. There was a little wait to order food which is understandable. The staff were okay but honestly I could tell a couple of them were annoyed that we were there. The food I always usually enjoy but one or two of the dishes had a soapy taste as though surfaces/equipment/hands hadn't been fully cleaned or rinsed while the cleaning was happening. Then as we were finishing up the staff, I think from the kitchen, started blasting out their own music over the restaurant music. We had to raise voices to hear each other across the table while we tried to finish drinks. I really thought this was so rude and uneccessary while there are customers still in store. We paid the same as we would have if we came any other time of day and were done about 20 minutes before closing anyway. We also shouldn't have to worry about how we are treated because it's late and go out of our own way to make the staff feel better or try to rush to get out. I get it, sometimes you just want to get done and out. But you don't be rude to paying customers who have done nothing actually wrong. Some days you might get out early, some on time, some late. If there is a regular issue with getting out on time then that's something that needs to be discussed with management or higher, not something to take out on customers. I really like Wagamama and so will come back because I hope this was a one off. The last time we came everything was absolutely fine, but that was the middle of the day so I guess we were allowed to come...

Went on Saturday the 25th of May as a treat and was met with staff doing everything they could to avoid actually serving customers; standing around chatting, undergoing pointless tasks (it was 9pm there didn't need to be 5 people stood behind the bar), we had to ask to be served after waiting about 20 minutes, then when we were served we had to be served by the manager which is policy, but then the manager stood around for 5 minutes after they were told that we needed help, granted the manager was accommodating to allergies, however then when our food did arrive they just left one of our sides on the counter for about 15 minutes until we told them that we were missing a side. Then about 15 minutes after we got our food we wanted to ask for two waters and there was again no staff members around and the water took a while to come aswell. There were about 3 tables in the restaurant when we were there and honestly it's just...

first time arriving at wagamamas and I absolutely love it, obviously it seems like I would as I got a good but basic meal as my first choice but I don't regret it at all. for starters the staff and service is amazing and the atmosphere is brilliant, it's a bit worrying when you get put onto a table that is made for more than what amount you have but nonetheless the atmosphere is amazing. the drinks and foods were brilliant, I got a negroni and a grilled chicken ramen, the negroni was beautiful, while definitely on the stronger side I still enjoyed it very much, and the grilled chicken ramen was just one of the best experiences I've ever had. I do want to thank my beautiful girlfriend for this experience, definitely want to go back...

I visited Wagamama in Doncaster with a party of eight. While I ordered both a starter and a Pad Thai for my main course, my experience was quite disappointing. Although everyone in our group had received and eaten both their starters and main courses, my main dish never arrived. After waiting for an unreasonable amount of time, I decided to cancel my order. Despite the staff offering a free dessert or drink as compensation, I had already lost interest in eating and declined their offer. We left without leaving any tips due to the poor service. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I won't be returning to this location even if the service and atmosphere as well as the company was amazing.

As my first Wagamama, I wasn't overly impressed. The "we bring your food when it's ready" as opposed to when the table's food is ready left a large gap between meals being received, I had finished before the kids were served. It also looked like they almost did some batch cooking, with the kids Katsu being sent out with several other Katus' going to other tables concurrently. My noodles were tasty, but the chicken was dry and overcooked. We were only asked once if everything was ok, and that was as we began to leave. Personally, I was underwhelmed and at around £25 per person, didn't really seem worth it.

Attended the family and friends pre launch of this new restaurant. Nice feeling about the place, staff all seem happy and enthusiastic and that adds to the relaxed atmosphere. We were served by Ashleigh, who knew the menu and items information, which was helpful advising what the wife wanted to eat. Leo was polite and always checking everything was fine..quite attentive. If..and only if I would add a criticism, it would be that the Teriyaki Steak soba was well done, not medium rare as it should be.. but we put that down to the first week of opening. Otherwise very nice, will return and recommend
