Greggs — Restaurant in Doncaster

I had an absolutely awful experience at this store today. The woman who was serving me was nice and polite however the other woman that was on shift at around 7:30 this morning was extremely unpleasant and made me feel uncomfortable and embarrassed in a busy shop. I didn’t catch the names of both women unfortunately. However I was using a redeemable reward through my banking app, never used it before so was unsure how it worked I was asked politely by the woman who was serving me what item it was for, I struggled to hear her as the store was busy, so I said “sorry can you say it again” to which the other woman who was working responded with “(woman’s name) are you not a mind reader like some people think you are. If your not you need to be a mind reader” I felt this comment was rude and unnecessary as it made me feel extremely embarrassed and uncomfortable I couldn’t leave the store quick enough. Just from this experience alone I won’t be using this store again I’ll go elsewhere as I don’t want to or expect to be made to feel like that because I couldn’t hear what was said. I will also advise anyone who asks not to use the store all because of this woman’s customer...

Watch out for the angry looks you will get if you ask them which pasty’s are hot , heaven forbid you should get a warm pasty paying full price, and Greggs think they’re the pasty experts and they can’t even sell you a hot pasty every single time, it’s not good enough

PLEASE ALWAYS CHECK YOUR CHANGE when visiting this branch before you put it in your pocket , I’ve done retail now for a number of years , and the method to counting change out for people when learnt makes it almost impossible to short change someone, even a monkey couldn’t get it wrong, but yet here at least twice (possibly more) who knows, members of staff here have tried to short change me. Theres a lot to be said for an honest days...

Wanted 3 breakfast baguettes. Been queuing in the shop since 10:35. Get to counter at 10:50 to be told there's no bacon. Asked if they can cook some more. She said no because it will be finished at 11 and will go to waste. There is a que of more customers wanting it and surely they can just cook what is needed. Also buying several drinks sandwiches and other things for the lads at work. Walked out to go mcdonalds instead who actually serve...
