Its taken me a day to write this as im still in shock of how two members of staff (one a manager) could treat a customer! Yesterday Saturday december 12th 2020 myself and my husband had decided to go into mc donalds instead of using the drive through as the drive through looked packed, anyhow as walking towards the entrance i could see more than two tables of people sitting down eating their food but also see the sign that it was order and take out only so was a bit mind boggled as to why there was people sitting down eating if it was take out only. As we got into the resturant i wasnt greeted by staff member called claire (that im not to bothered about) but i did ask kindly if it was allowed to sit inside to eat? Which she rudely replied, NO! its clearly states on signs its take out only! So i then went on to question why people was sitting and eating if its take out only? Having not known they was staff members. But again in a rude manner she said well they are staff members if you look closely! And the staff was sitting there because their staff room was closee. I was by this point livid at the poor, arrogant and not called for customer service. I asked her to get the manager as i was shocked that this woman was speaking so loudly and rudely towards myself with other customers around and no care in the world. So claire stomps of to get the manager, who i quite clearly heard her say "theres a rude customer who wants to make a complaint." So the manager come from behind the counter (her name i dont know. But im sure head office will do) with a stinking attitude, stood infront of all the customer inside the resturant (nope she didnt take me to one side) and asked me "what my problem was" ?? Yes thats correct! As blunt as that I told her exactly what had happened and how rude her member of staff was towards me and she said "THANKS FOR BRINGING THAT TO MY ATTENTION" . I then turned around to my husband who had actually left the resturant to go back to the car not completing his order on the machine as i turned back the manager done a hand gesture behind my back which im raising a complaint to head office to get cctv to comfirm what exactly that gesture was and to inform them of this inappropriate behaviour from their staff including a manager. As i told her i am disgusted she then told me to "get out then if i wasnt happy", i was well and truley shocked and walked off whilst they had a laugh, giggle and mumbled words between themselves. As a loyal customer im a well and truely ashamed and disgusted by how i have been treated by not one staff member but two! Never will i return to this resturant again. Im not saying i wont eat from mac donalds again but it will be a long time before i go to another. So we didnt end up getting any food from mc donalds and i was so angry i didnt even go across the road to KFC i went home and my husband went and got us fish and chips! So not only did you loose custom yesterday you've lost a loyal customer and i will also inform/warn family and friend's to boycott this resturant...
Read moreTwo stars for manager only ,he is over worked and has staff are unsuppotive of him and dont do their job .The woman in question was rude and gobby ,lazy too as she was mainly milling around the ordering machines when we came in . She seems to feel dealing with customers is a hassle. No customer service aptitude. So our burgers, one triple cheese and one quater pounder were cold! So my husband took it to the counter ,only one had one bite out of it as we alerted them to the cold burgers shortly after we were given them ,the manager apologised and then said he would get two fresh . After ten mins no burgers ,we had finished our fries and drinks ,and our children had nearly finished ,so my husband went to enquire as to where the burgers were, next thing we know, ,a very gpbby woman marched up to our table saying you walked off ,you complained about your food and then marched off without saying what it was ,she refused to accept she was wrong and what she should have done was go to her manager and asked what the order was that needed redoing ! then the manager came over to apologise and explain he is severely short staffed .which we accepted ,however she continued to gob off down the store and customers were all watching. She pointed at my husband an said deal with it to her manager ! Can I just say this is not how you carry on and you dont gob to your manager on the shop floor and complain about customers loudly for all other customers to witness ,obviously watches too many soap operas ,you deal with them was her response ,I cant be bothered! I have two autistic children with me ,so bravo for making them nervous. I suggest if customers arnt your thing and "you cant be bothered ," change jobs .final note within five minutes her mate came in to one of the order screen ,she was pointing at our table and taking the mick with her friend who i can only imagine must get a better service ! So too busy to serve but not too busy to go and act like a 15 year old school girl when your mate walks in and carry on being rude and abusive to a family who only wanted their dinner! Where was your hat ? you were bagging food and dealing with food ,you were also making a point of emptying bins that were overflowing near us but then filling the sauce pumps again near us and then making sure you called everyone sweetheart while shooting us daggers and grinning .at no point did you have time to clean your hands . No amount of pretending to be good at customer service was going to wash after what you had just done. You had ABSOLUTELY NO REGARD FOR OUR CHILDREN SAT AT OUR TABLE ,You then proceeded to be very rude and immature .I hope head office become aware of your behaviour and read some previous reviews as there is obviously a real problem with certain female staff being abusive...
Read moreEdit: I can finally rate the service - I got served, but it took over half an hour from ordering my meal to recieving it. I got served straight away and the lady who took my order was really nice but the guy who gave me it seemed confused and appeared rather spaced out. He gave me my drinks then took them back off me then asked me what I was waiting for, I said my drinks so he then gave them back to me. Went and parked up, opened the bag, entirely wrong order, wrong drinks and one was cold and only half full, wrong receipt everything. Went back to sit in what was now a big queue, finally got to the window, he apologised and said he knew it was wrong. He asked what my original order was and wrote it down on a piece of paper which took a while in it's self, even though all I'd ordered was a burger and fries, a chicken nugget meal and two drinks. Sat and waited, he then came back with the meal, passed it me and went off to get my drinks. Meanwhile I looked in the bag and there were fries missing. His reactions were very slow and he kept staring confused. He then said I'd have to wait a few minutes for the missing fries to cook. Meanwhile the meal he's given me is going cold. Finally got the fries and ate them with my almost cold chicken nuggets. He did keep apologising saying he was sorry, but he just didn't seem on this planet. I wasn't offered any complimentaries and the wrong order he gave me was just dumped on the side, he could've let me keep it considering I'd waited over half an hour to recieve the right food and ended up with a meal that was half cold. This Mcdonald's honestly sucks, poor service almost every time. ------------------------original review----------------------- I can't really rate the service or the food because 9 out of 10 times I've been turned away with neither due to them doing system updates. Why not do them at 4am when it's quiet rather than at peak times such as 11pm on a Saturday night? Or at least have a routine time to do it so that people know and don't waste their time coming. It's ridiculous the amount of times I've had to drive to the next nearest mcdonalds because this one (my local one) isn't taking orders. It's definitely not 24...
