I had a wonderful experience at Taj Cottage Restaurant! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with a cozy yet elegant setup that makes you feel at home right away. The staff were incredibly polite, attentive, and made sure every detail of our dining experience was perfect.

The food was absolutely delicious — full of authentic flavors, freshly prepared, and beautifully presented. Every dish we tried had a unique taste, and the portions were generous. The balance of spices and quality of ingredients really stood out.

We went here last night to celebrate a birthday, when we arrived they had no record of the booking (we did have a confirmation email for a table of 9 ). We arrived at 7pm and from the start the service was just poor and very slow. The food once it was served. Was cold and not worth the wait.. another table at the side of ours got up and left without paying due to the same long waits and poor service.

There was no management around, we asked several times to speak with the manager and after an hour wait for him we were presented with a kitchen worker??

Lack of proper customer service. I arranged for 18 people to dine in November 2022. You would have thought the amount of money spent would have warranted some free coffee or something else. The total bill was a hassle trying to calculate what we all had. Deposits were put on wrong separate sections of the party and in the end we were at a £20 loss somewhere. Totally confusing and was not communicated very well to how the bill was divided up. The food was great but very very expensive. I’d say about £8 more per person just on the food than anywhere else.
