Tesco Cafe — Restaurant in Doncaster

Tesco cafe advertises "all day breakfast" available until they close at 6pm. I arrived at 5pm to order aforementioned breakfast only to be hesitantly and rather unenthusiastically greeted by the member of staff who had initially been talking to the delivery colleague in the back for a couple of minutes before taking note of my arrival.

I was told that the breakfast would need to be cooked from scratch (which is a good thing) and would take 30 to 45 minutes which I politely agreed to. I was then told that they close at 6pm and this would take up considerable effort to which I was quite surprised at, may I remind them they are being paid until 6pm yet it was only 5pm and they are trying to discourage orders already?

I stated my case & persisted and eventually got my order taken and sat down. When the food came one of the sausages was broken in two and looked worse for wear, the toast was had no butter on and no butter sachets where offered, looked rather thrown together without much care, what was more surprising however was that it only took 15 minutes to come out. What was the fuss about then?

I understand the cafe is understaffed at this time but if your going to advertise a product then as a customer it is reasonable to expect that you get what you order without trying to be talked out of it due to lack of effort.

Went here with Mrs and both kids 1st thing they got wrong was the lady who brings food out went to the wrong table then when the food finally got to our table my lil lad had peas instead of beans which beans is what we orded then my Mrs orded fish chips and mushy peas in which the mushy peas wasn't cooked properly and on my breakfast the egg was still half rare sausage didn't taste great 1 piece of bacon looked like it has been left on heat for 20 seconds whilst my 2nd slice looked like it had been in the pan overnight and was blacker than the roads tarmac we shall definitely not be going here again...

Came here with my family for a light brunch. Don’t particularly mind ordering on the screens but to say it’s a cafe there is no customer service at all. Saw multiple old people struggling to order on the screens with nobody around to help them. When what we ordered came, there was no explanation of what was what. The food and drink was just put all out on the table and the person left without saying a word. Thankfully none of us have dietary requirements. The Ham & Brie croissant was tiny and not value for money. No customer...
