I ordered a steady breakfast for me and my boyfriend. When it arrived, the waiter was standing on the far side of the table. He held the plate as if he was giving it to me and as I went to grab the plate he warned me it was hot. As soon as I touched the plate he let go straight away, and due to the heat I let go as well. It was way too hot for him to even allow me to touch in the first place, in fact I had a burn on my finger. The plate fell upside down on the table and the waiter scooped it all up with his hands and put it back on the plate. After he cleaned the table, he left the food there which I now believe he expected me to eat. I was under the impression that I was going to be given another breakfast but I sat there hungry for 20 minutes. Eventually I asked a waiter who got a manager out. The first thing he said to me was "what is the problem?" In a very aggesive tone. I simply explained the situation in which he tried making out it was my fault. He was not concerned at all about the burn on my finger and was just very hostile. How this man is in any managerial position is beyond me. I demanded a refund as I realised I was not getting a replacement. I have worked in customer service and was shocked by how rude not only the waiter was but also the manager. I paid for good service and food and got pain and disrespect in return. I have received better customer service in mcdonalds. I can safely say I will not be returning to...

Read moreOn a trip from London for the BH weekend we went to this charming little place.. felt like we just stepped back into the 90s, the decor, music etc..
We ordered 2 Full English Breakfast meals @£9.50 each.. with 2 hot drinks for an additional £3 each. The drinks came out within minutes.. with no spoon or Sugar.. we asked for both and were told to grab them from the counter.. ok. Then the food followed (no napkins or sauces given, again we were asked to collect from the counter IF we needed them) that aside, up until now I’m not 100% certain about what so ate. The toast, egg and hash browns were lovely.. but the sausages and bacon were tasteless and didn’t even resemble its vegan counterparts.. mushrooms were covered on some sort of sage seasoning (what were they trying to disguise) I’m just not sure what they were. Plates were left with half eaten breakfasts and we left pretty sharpish! Think about heading to Greggs if you’re...
