Met a friend here for lunch. Ordered a Lentil Soup and a beer. The soup was warm, no where near hot, and it was out of a can. The bread was a regular slice of white bread, and past its best. We then had tea and cake. The tea was disgusting - it was a horrid grey colour, never had such a poor cup of tea. The lemon cake was ok, but again past its best. The only positive is that it was cheap. Soup was £4.50 ,but could easily have made a fresh soup and sold it for that price. The tea was£1.90, but again, a decent tea bag costs what, 0.02p?? Staff were pleasant, but the place was very dark and dingy around the till area, and food on display did not look at all appetising. Will not be back.

This is a lovely, lovely coffee shop, the atmosphere is warm, friendly and relaxed, the Manager/Owner and staff are calm and friendly and the place itself has 4 different seating areas - 2 are outside - the courtyard at the back is a delight. Super clean loos always a good indicator I feel - the whole place feels ‘loved’. Coffee is really good too … but the cake! Wow! THE best gluten free Lemon Cake (also choc brownie) I’ve ever had and so fresh! The icing on the cake is that they are SO dog friendly .. we really enjoy going there and so does our Teddie! Thanks for the doggy treats too!

Friendly staff and good coffee and desserts. They have outdoor seating both in front of the shop and inside an enclosed area behind the shop, which is nice, as we didn’t have to worry about bags and valuables. I had a latte and a chocolate fudge cake.

I am a local in Dover I had visitors from India heading back home as I was recommended regarding this restaurant I thought I would take them there for breakfast at a cost of £28 anyway after getting the breakfast the scrabbled egg was like sawdust and the sausages and bacon uneatable 2 of the sausages were under cooked and the servettes stuck on the plate with the food over it also the toast was throughn on top of the food I had to send the cups back due to them not being washed properly it was a real spoiler for my guests last day in Dover and the worst breakfast ever from there time here I'm appalled and sadenned I've lived here for 40 years and paying all that money for something no one could eat as it was over cooked and to boot trying to give me £10 change of old money which can only be exchanged in the bank which I gave back place stinks and I will certainly be telling my friends...
