AVOID!!!
Booked a table for 8 due to my brother’s birthday.
Called the restaurant prior to see if they were offering “help to eat out” scheme? Confirmed on the phone they did.
Dined on the 19 August 2020 at 7pm.
Upon arrival we had to wait for our table with two kids as it was not ready. Sat at our table and the host/ manager passive aggressively offered us to look at their ‘offer menu for £14.99’ rather than the main menu. He’s words, I quote “this is discounted more than 50%” when he handed the menu to us. Not thinking too much of it, we opted for the £14.99 for 5 of us as we thought the 50% would apply on top. Another dish we got was biryani.
Total bill was shocking!!!! No 50% applied and on top of that 10% service charge applied. I wouldn’t of minded that charge if the server wasn’t shouting so loudly when serving our food. The restaurant is a size of an average dining room in the UK. No need to shout. Shocking!
I questioned about the bill and he’s response (host/manager), “how can I offer you more discount on top of the deal you had?!”. I explained that during our initial call that he had confirmed it was 50% to help to eat out. But the host/manager response was “I don’t want to argue with you.” I didn’t raise my voice and I questioned, it’s fine and I can understand that we had the deal menu for £14.99 per person but what about the biriyani and the drinks?. He response, “we don’t do that on the selected menu”. I was shocked by he’s response. The whole point of 50% is hell small business. I responded, I am not arguing with you but just stating what you had offered on the phone.
Very disappointed. Very miss-led. No VAT receipt provided.
When paying, the host/manager also asked me to come over to the bar rather than handing the bill to us in comparison to the other guests.
I will not be going back again as the overall experience left a bad taste in our...
Read moreI thought this place would be very good from the reviews, but sadly it was far from it. I visited this place recently and it was a terrible experience.
Firstly it was a hot day and they had the heating on. Secondly the head waiter tried to con us to order a bigger side, thinking we were some tourists and didn't know Indian food. He said the kitchen is 'busy', but the restaurant was half empty. Sorry, but don't try to nickel and dime me. If the food is good quality and made with passion, I will order a little and try it and then order big. Also no tap water because of 'construction'. Nice excuse to try and get us to buy more.
We ordered a house special Briyani which comes with a high price tag. Here we are expecting a portion for two. Out comes this tiny amount that doesn't even fill the plate.
We order naan and that was a few hours old, not fresh. I have visited many Indian restaurants and this naan lacked flavour and texture. The keema naan was definitely a day or two old. The keema mince inside was like cement. It was frozen and reheated.
The 'house' special Briyani was very bland and lacked any flavour. My guest commented that the only thing good was the orange juice.
Please don't run a restaurant and charge the prices you do if you are not going to provide a quality standard and...

Soo , I don’t know where this restaurant gets its review from , but let me bring some real truth out to you . This is a disgrace in the name of Indian food . I don’t know how so far the food critics have not discovered this atrocious insult to curry . Starters : papadoms. Served cold and it felt like they had been laying around for some time and they just served us . Main: Hyderabad Biryani , veg birynani, special chicken curry , naan.
Those who know Hyderabad biryani would vomit . The only difference between the two birynais was the pieces of chicken tikka which were also the pieces in the curry . One can rightly assume that only biryani dish is cooked and they simply mix the already fried chicken into everything else . Whatever it was ,tasted pathetic.
Water was supposed to be charged as there is no tap water available . But just in the next table we saw they were being served with tap water . I lost my patience with the staff at that moment and had to burst out if the...
