So came for a drive out having found this place online as being dog friendly. Trying to socialise our 1 yr old Yorkie we thought this would be a great idea on a lovely sunny day. So we sat down inside to have a meal and a drink, and an old couple walked straight over to say hello to our dog, who quite rightly barked at them as he didn't know them. We were then instantly approached by who I can only assume to have been the manageress, who said she allows well behaved dogs only... and then asked us to sit outside. Thankfully it was warm so we sat outside, had what I can only describe as a sub standard meal, a boxed burger and a piece of boxed fish, over cooked chips and limp salad, in a child sized portion. Read moreWe started going to the Foresters Arms about six moths ago, as we were getting really disillusioned with some of the other popular pubs in Wollaston.,which for most of the weekends and summer months are filled with either unruly kids, or loud, filthy mouthed yobs!
This pub however, if refreshingly different!....It has a wonderful welcoming feel as soon as you enter the premises, and the couple that run it are just lovely!! ...They sell great beer(Enville ale being one of them!) serve fantastic Sunday roasts, and very reasonably priced. However, best of all....it's dog friendly too!,

Read moreI popped in for a quick pint and ended up staying for hours because of how friendly the bar staff were. Trudy and Dave are the owners and have their own friendly dogs and the pub is dog friendly, there are lots of different beers and ciders on taps and happy to have it as my local and will be going more often.
