Brilliant local pub.. Holden's brewery, so good real ale offerings... Always kept at top notch quality.

Staff are great... Nick the landlord is a fantastic chap, all round friendly local.

Just make sure you check opening times as tends to be open from 4sh onwards, so don't expect a lunchtime pint there. ;)

Went to the Monday night quiz. A good quiz with a modern twist as it's all done on a tablet to avoid cheating. Something to get used to and you need to be very quick with your answers as extra points are awarded to the first team to answer which doesn't seem quit fair to older slower minds. A nice atmosphere though with friendly staff and good...

Since this place has been taken under new management the interiors look much better (a much needed spruce up!) and they're serving decent food too. Staff are also friendly. Would be nice to see more business bought here so they can continue improving the premises...
