Popped in this evening for some food with a colleague. Lovely food, started with some small plates & decided on the Balmoral chicken for my main, delicious. Unfortunately no room left for a dessert, tempting as they were, so rounded off the meal with a good Americano. Spot on friendly, attentive service from Vicki and the other young lady working who's name I didn't catch (sorry).

Lovely pub. Food is lush and the staff are welcoming. We could bring our dogs too, they have their own treats behind the bar. I say this is a pub for all.You see folk in before a night out or spending their evening having fun in the pub. It is great for family lunches/dinners or birthdays! Highly recommend this magical place.

Stopped in here on Wednesday 7th June and got to say was possibly the worst meal ever, ordered the gammon with eggs and chips. The egg was like rubber, a bacon rasher is probably thicker than the gammon, which was so burnt, you could not even consider eating it. Horrible meal to say the least. Would NOT recommend

The Rumblingwell is a fantastic local pub that strikes the perfect balance between modern style and welcoming atmosphere. From the moment you walk in, the interior feels fresh and contemporary, with a clean layout and a touch of warmth that makes it inviting for both casual visits and special occasions. It doesn’t have the tired look of some traditional pubs – instead, it feels updated and vibrant without losing its sense of comfort.

One of the biggest strengths of The Rumblingwell is the wide variety of food on offer. The menu caters to many tastes, with everything from hearty classics to lighter options. Portions are generous without being overdone, and each dish feels thoughtfully prepared rather than mass-produced. Whether you’re after a quick lunch, a family meal, or an evening out with friends, there’s something to suit.

The staff deserve special mention for their friendliness and attentiveness. They strike a nice balance between being approachable and efficient, which adds a lot to the overall experience.

Parking is on the smaller side, which can be a minor challenge at busier times, but it doesn’t take away from the quality of the visit. Overall, The Rumblingwell delivers excellent food, a modern environment, and consistently...

Went to the rumblingwell for a Sunday lunch to celebrate getting a promotion in work and what a shambles! Arrived at 2 and was told it would be at least an hour wait for food ( the place was empty) but we decided to wait. Ordered a house plater. ( fire cracker chicken wings, chips, breaded mushroom, onion rings and garlic bread ). After over an hour and 20 minutes we finally got it and it was all frozen food. How did it take 1 hour and 20 minutes to cook frozen food and there was 2 chicken tenders not wings We did eat it and it was average. The main came. Boyfriend got a salad and garlic bread and I get fish and chips like who can get a fish and chips wrong. Well the rumblingwill can. Got the fish and it was still raw the batter was like goo. I actually got sick after it and boyfriend eat he salad but then waited another 15 minutes for the garlic bread. No matter what way u cook garlic bread it doesn't take 15 minutes. I had 2 bites of the fish and it was so bad. There was one staff member and that was it. He was nice . I will definitely not go back as disappointing is a massive...

Really wanted to like this place as we live round the corner. However came in for food for the first time and were really disappointed, no greeting on arrival, had to go and ask for menus, went to bar to order and husband said it took ages as the lady was doing things on the till and didn’t acknowledge him, even when he said excuse me twice, was pretty empty so you’d think service would be fast, however very long wait for food, then the wrong food came out, don’t know how you can get a chicken tikka masala mixed up with a steak pie…. Then had to wait for food again, husbands pie had obviously been reheated and gone soggy, chicken tikka masala wasn’t very warm, ended up leaving the chicken as wasn’t sure it was piping hot. Gave us 3 knives and one fork and it was fluffy so had to ask for fresh cutlery. Wouldn’t come back, staff didn’t seem very cheery or...
