Serena’s Indian Takeaway Dunfermline — Restaurant in Dunfermline

Pre ordered takeaway for tonight as we knew it would be busy. It was ordered for 6pm. Arrived at 6.25, not overly late, but I would have thought if it's pre ordered for 6 then it would arrive closer to 6 rather than half 6.

This is the baffling part.I ordered 3 pizzas for the kids, 1 plain tomato and cheese, 1 Hawaian and 1 cheese and tomato pizza with extra pepperoni, as apparently takeaways don't believe in pepperoni pizza's. The tomato and cheese was far to spicy for the 6 Yr old. He literally drank a pint of milk, the Hawaian was too spicy for the 10 year old, he eat 3 slices and gave up. The only thing I can think is they have spice tomato base sauce, in which case they should really specify on the menu...

Overall the entire takeaway was pretty poor. I don't think I'll be going back...

Food was much too expensive for what we received. The food was undercooked, stuffed crust comprised of entirely unmelted cylinders of cheese and the pizza dough was pale and spongey. Onion inside the calzone and in the pakora box were just raw.

It arrived quickly but I would have preferred they actually spent a bit longer cooking some of our food instead of just rushing it straight to our doorstep.

The pakoras themselves, garlic mushrooms and palak paneer actually tasted quite nice, but the overall enjoyment of our meal was not quite how we had hoped.

Edit: just got to the middle of the calzone, the dough on the bottom is raw, have to reduce rating to 1 star.

Ordered Pizza from here a number of times, always been excellent. Today ordered a takeaway for 2 people, 2 portion Donner meat and chips, 2 naan with 2 garlic sauce and 2 chilli sauce., Cost £30, when food arrived, donner meat and chips was 90% chips with very little meat, and sauce tubs were small and only half full. Felt very low value for money. Called and gave me feedback. Tbf it's a good takeaway and I would say worth ordering from, just check the portion sizes and see if you adds up, if not call and let them know, they handle...
