Never have I regretted purchasing food from a venue as much as I do tonight, alarm bells should have rung when the shop front is full of stock and not well presented. Go to any Rumbles in the area and you will see the difference. Massive language barrier when ordering so not surprised when the food was ready and I asked them to check , bits were missing Good 20 minutes wait for two kebabs and chips, not exactly a la carte stuff we are talking about My doner kebab, large, was some uncooked, cold stuff in a box with some white splodge on top, no pitta or need I say love went into that, my partners salad kebab ( don’t ask ) Iv picked more salad out of my belly button after a meal than she got, although she did get a pitta. Limp, old looking salad, covered in a bit of paper in the chiller cabinet, not to keep the flys away, to stop us seeing what they are serving . The chips,, If you have ever owned a deep fat fryer you will know this, fryer has been in the garage for a few weeks and you get it out to do some chips but there are a couple left below the basket that you dropped last month, sod it, heat the oil, fish them out and serve, that’s how bad they were I’m not a drama queen but on this occasion I have put what I haven’t eaten in the fridge so if I don’t wake up tomorrow my partner has the evidence. Nice clean chips, potato wedges had nice spicy to them, the chicken kebab has lots of meat with a nice separate salad so it didn't get all sweaty. The steak and kidney pie was heated well it was hot without having the pastry dry up. Good food guys. Edit: 13/12/24 Awful food this week, all the food was just about warm cuz of a 70min delivery time. Had large chips last week in paper they were very hot and fresh, but not this week. We love Rumbles Fish Bar. They all offer a good quality meal. Access is not as easy as one would wish for if you were in a wheelchair. Parking is very restricted locally with a taxi rank outside the door and time limited on street parking . There is four or five disabled parking bays as well but this is a very busy road so parking is often unavailable. There is a large free car park that is ten mins walk away. The food is always fresh and hot. There is all the usual products available as well as chips Including chicken, kebabs and burgers. If you are a chip lover it is well worth a visit.
